In Chefchaouen there were only Arabs and a minority of Jews because Andalusians are the Arabs who were expelled from Spain after the fall of Islamic rule in Spain .

The Berbers are Arabs from Yemen, and the Berber alphabet was taken from the Arabic Musnad script from the Arabian Peninsula before the advent of the modern Arabic script, which was taken from the Syriac language that was circulating in Syria. As for the Roman and Greek script, it is completely different from the Berber script. Let us suppose that your theory are correct. It must be in the Berber dialect similar to Greek and Roman in pronunciation and meaning, and this does not exist. We note that the Berber dialect is similar to Arabic in pronunciation, such as the letter Kh and gh and 3 (aa) exist only in arabic and berber dialect and the evidence for my words is that the Berbers used Arabic words before the presence of the Arabs, salt(mala7) and the market(souk), and the city (medina) and berber dialect contains 40% of Arabic words, so the Moroccans and north africa abandoned Berber and spoke Arabic directly
