Being a Realtor has been the biggest blessing for me in this season of life. I completed school to be a sales associate when I was seven months pregnant with our first baby, and then completed my second round of school to become a real estate broker when my last baby was a year old! 2024 will be my seventh year in real estate, and I am so grateful for all of the opportunities that it has provided for my family.
I was blessed coming into this profession under the guidance of my mom who had 25+ years under her belt in the real estate world. It was just me and her for a while, but now she has a brokerage with 12 of us and I'm so proud of her for everything that she's built! My mom truly has been the glue that has kept me in this profession this long. It is by no means easy, especially with raising young babies, but it has always been worth it.
And do not let this video fool you! I wanted to give yall a look at what a typical "workday" looks like for a real estate agent. But not every day looks like this. Sometimes we are in the office, sometimes we are working from home, sometimes we are out for showings or listings, and sometimes there is nothing happening that day at all in my little real estate world! But nothing beats getting to make my own schedule and show up for my kids and family whenever they need me!
