Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullu, the son of the renowned vocalist Ustad Nathu Khan, hails from the famous Patiala and Sham Chaurasi Gharana of Classical Music. He is from the family of Great Mastreos Ustad Salamat Ali Khan and Ustad Nazakat Ali khan. His two sons Chand Khan and Suraj Khan are also famous classical and Thumri singers.
Baksh is an extraordinary performer and composer of Pakistani classical, Thumri (light-classical), and ghazals. He has created a new style of ghazal singing which brings out the best elements of classical music, thumris as well as ghazals. He is a regular artist on Radio Pakistan and Pakistan TV.
