If you remember, Jiraiya was kind of a prophecy child too-a special person. This aspect was never fully explored in the Naruto universe, but the elder frog did call up Jiraiya, saw his future, and saw him as the connection to the prophecy. The elder frog told Jiraiya that his student would save the world. Why Jiraiya? Jiraiya is also the reason for Naruto's existence. He trained Minato, met and trained Nagato, and somehow fought all of Nagato's six paths when they were alive. These are all aspects of prophecy-level special powers that were somewhat shrugged under the rug. Maybe Jiraiya is special in this way, which is why Amado recreated him. Otherwise, why would he choose Jiraiya, they had no connection, especially given how hard it was to recreate his body? It seems like more than just an emotional or storyline choice.

My working theory for the Kara hideout tree, is that it’s the remnants of the tree shibai ascended from. He or his partner sealed his body away in the black box and the energy leaking from the box slowly revitalized the tree and caused it to give birth to the juvenile 10 tails. One thing that kinda gets me, is right now Kawaki is in a position that if Momoshiki does in fact hijack Boruto's body, then that's going to turn a lot of heads based off of how Omnipotence works. Meaning Kawaki won't have many places to go to prove otherwise, or to even grow. However, at this particular point, he could turn some of his immediate issues around by talking to Shikamaru, who is already understanding the "truth". By, in a way, explaining to good 'ol Lord 8th (😅?) His situation and why he seals Naruto away and his plan to essentially whipe out the Otsutsuki, that could potentially sway Shikamaru to kinda cope with what's going on, and would eventually lead to a coupe building up from within Konaha against Kawaki, which leads not only the destruction of Konaha, but also builds Boruto's story on getting everything taken away, and being forced down the hard path.
