Day 1 :
• Arrive at Srinagar
• Visit Mughal Garden
- Entry Ticket : Rs.20 for adults & Rs.10
• Visit Tulip Garden
- Opens only in March
- Entry Ticket : Rs.75 for adults & Rs.35 for children
• Visit Dal Lake
- You can do Shikara ride at Dal Lake
- Total Duration : 1 hour [ 45 minutes of ride & 15 minutes of market ]
• End your day with Lal Chowk
Day 2 :
• Go to Gulmarg from Srinagar
- Distance : 50 Km
- Duration : It will take 1 to 1.5 hour to reach.
• Gandola Ride
- Height of Phase 1 : 1000 ft. Above sea level
- Cost of Phase 1 : Rs.800
- Height of Phase 2 : 12,500 ft. Above sea level
- Cost of Phase 2 : Rs.1000
- Make sure to book it 3 days earlier
• Maharani Temple
- You have to go through 50 to 60 stairs to reach there
- It the shooting location of a bollywood song named ' Jai jai shiv shankar '
• Alpather Lake
- Also known as the Frozen Lake
- Popular activities : Camping, trekking & fishing
• Go Back to Srinagar
• If you will stay in Gulmarg then remember that the accomodation cost is high here.
Day 3 :
• Go to Sonmarg from Srinagar
• Distance : 80 Km
• Duration : 2 hours
• You can go to different places like Thajiwas glacier, krishnasar Lake and many more through Pony Ride.
• Popular Snow activities : Snowboarding & Sledging
Day 4 :
• When you will go to Pahalgam from Srinagar, then you can visit these places on the way.
• Pampore market
- Popular for Saffron and you can also buy it if you want
• Baisaran valley
- Known as the Mini switzerland of India
- You have to go there by pony ride
- If you are with senior citizens then it is preferred to not go there as the path is very dangerous.
Alternatives of Baisaran Valley -
• Apple Valley
- You can see various apple trees & drink the apple juice too.
• Aishmuqam Dargah
- There are around 272 stairs to reach the dargah
- It is the location where a song of Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been shot
• Stay at pahalgam
Day 5 : Pahalgam
• ABC valley
- A stands for Aru Valley, B stands for Betaab Valley & C stands for Chandanwari Valley
- Aru Valley : A green grassland with the stunning view of Himalayan Range
- Betaab Valley : Named after a Bollywood Movie " Betaab " & renowned for it's natural beauty.
- Chandanwari Valley : Beginning point of Amarnath Yatra. It also has a beautiful snow bridge
• Explore the Local food of Kashmir
• Back to srinagar
Day 6 :
• Hazratbal Dargah
- It is an highly respected place among the people there.
• Shankracharya Temple
- You have to go through 243 stairs to reach here.

Yes you can go in August too, and package price can be vary accordingly to your hotel budget. Agency always try to convince you to take Delux hotel but you can tell them while booking that you want basic facilities and price of hotels. It can start from 75K to any amount if you are even taking Standard hotels with rooms each days ( 4 people stay ) for 5 days stay

I am currently in Kashmir tight now.... It is too hot here.... So there will be no need to carry any woollen clothes with you... For snow you have to go to sonmarg where you can rent clothes .. so I recommend you don't carry any woollen clothes with you. And a bonus tip.... There are a lot of scams going on with tourists.... Be aware ... And my review about the place is that I will either visit Kashmir in winter or never... I am really tired ... It was not really worth it..🫥
