To sum it up: The guy is helpless when his father dies. He just doesn't expect this coming, and now regrets his decision of chasing material over emotions. The child's narration is simply there just to illustrate how a physically grown up and immature self interact with each other. "40 years, ha sach me" is perfect indication. He starts to understand it all when he realizes that to survive further he has to own up things, take responsibilities, and manage things which he was all dependent on his father for. In one sentence, Kashmir is the narration of shift in responsibilities (hope to lead better life) from father to father. And word 'Kashmir' is a feeling which indicates the how helpless one can feel when death surrounds. It can be taken as analogous to what happens in Kashmir.

I think Kashmir ek ehsaas he, gharse dur hone ka ehsaas, khud se dur hojane ka ehsaas, apno ke saath chutt Jane ka ehsaas, aur in shor sharaba mein fir se khudko dhundne ka aas... Ham har koi Apne Apne Kashmir Ko chodna nahi chahte.. this short film is a beautiful thought which leaves you in a dilemma

When someone you love dies, you're permanently taken away the luxury of talking to that person. Never thought anyone will ever be able to capture that feeling of loss and deprivation. Thank you for making this, Sugandha. Thank you for bringing this film to life, Manav, Avijit, Fasal, and everyone at TTT. ♥️

I wish ki main aur mere papa ka bhi ek (aesa hi) Kashmir ho. Jahan hum mil sakein, khel sakein, ladd sakein, khush ho sakein. Jab bhi hum chahein! It's a Terribly Tiny Tale, with a really huge message. Kudos to the writer and the director (and of course the actors).

I love how this gave attention to minute details,in all that went seemingly simple. I loved the fact that the little boy was bouncing a football around rather than a basketball, which indicates how much chaos was built up inside Vicky's mind. Beautifully done,TTT.❤

Pranav Khurana Manav's character's father is dead. All are here to see him. He doesn't know if he should cry, "now". How is he supposed to behave? He denies his father's spirit across the table, as a ghost as there are no ghosts. So this can't be true that his father is talking to him after he died. There's a lot of noise ONLY for Manav (Vicky). It is how much you let things around you affect you, that is. There is peace and no noise for the ghost. They remember Kashmir & how they've nothing there.

he's looking at the dead body of his father. And he's talking to him in his mind. Even if he's dead, even if he's gone and away, he doesnt feel like he's away. He's still talking. He has the same kind of feelings for his father , just like the way he feels about his long lost Kashmir. It feels like its about Kashmir being free. The father always thought he has more time so he never went to Kashmir again..and then he died.and then the son realises that he must let go..so he suddenly gets up and takes the table away. And then he talks to the child-self to know that he can still find himself and find his freedom. The child-self says ki "chhupne ki koshish karlo, mai tumhe dhundh lunga" ..so i guess ita also about self-discovery. And freedom as well. I suppose. And Kashmir is home. The feeling of being home. He doesnt have anything or anyone here that feels like home. Maid hai jo kam karke chali jati hai.. ek Kouwa aur ek billi ka baccha hai..lekin phir wo sab apnasa nahi lagta. Kasmir wala ghar tut gaya hai lekin phir bhi baki sab ghar jaisa lagya hai. "Wahan ka Aasmaan, Daal lake, Chinaar ke ped..ab bhi waise hi hai.". But he still doesnt have the guts to go there...cause Kashmir is still not free. So in short the film is about his love for his father, their love for their Kashmir and home, and his path to self discovery through the fond childhood memories of Kashmir. 😊
