Wow, mega mange gange tak for upload.

This was like 6 years before before the Pearl Jam incident where people died in the crowd during Roskilde Festival.

Jeg havde for nylig en snak med nogle unge mennesker som var misundelige over at jeg havde set Kashmir dengang. Nu ved jeg hvor jeg skal sende dem hen!

damn, they sound great then, and showing some of the colors they would show more so later on, but damn, really quite different from the kashmir i would come to know. i have to add that the crowd surfing , while neat and definitely a remnant, really appears to be quite cringey.
@Rawsawn5 жыл бұрын
It was a common thing at concerts back then, especialy at grunge and heavy concerts. Imagine how annoying it must be that its most likely the same 4 persons that CONSTANTY wants to get surfed all the way to the back, and youre standing where they constantly land, i dont envy those people at all. Thank you present for no longer allowing randos to the stage to jump into a crowd.

On the flip side: this is the only video we have of early 90’s Kashmir besides the Hypocondriac Jack music video - I wish there were cell phones in the crowd then!!

@@zeruil8264the intro, however, featuring Kasper’s art (and presumably a story about the band) is spoken in Danish Edit: and the interviews between songs Edit2: and Kasper talking between songs
@bennisa81022 ай бұрын
I’m not sure if it’s gonna correlate properly due to some semantics but I’ll try😃 the intro: Kasper(the leadsinger), Mads(bassist) and Asger(drummer), three weird kids, grow up in three weird towns. Asger slowly morphs into a drumset, and his biggest wish scare his both his loyal parents. Mads hygger(¿chills?) in Vordingborg and draws wonderful drawing only he himself is amused of and dreams of being in a jazz fusion big band. Kasper on the other hand dreams of stardom à la(like) Kiss, and dresses like his idols while drawing cartoons about rock and violence. Kasper and Asger meet in “efterskole”(ig boarding school but it’s usually a lot more loose and not as posh if thats how boarding schools are viewed) and try out all the bassists in school until finally they have to resort the schools best but also the most reserved bassist… Mads. Things start taking shape during the anual Christmas jazz arrangement. The boys practice for 14 days and sign up under the name Kashmir. Now with a record deal the trip goes to a “plow field” where somebody set up an advanced studio. Here Kashmir records their first album. At a festive get-together they celebrate their debut album. This van is for long periods Kasmir’s second home during 1994 while working their way around different scenes in Denmark. This picture(the one showing Kashmir on a stage facing each other) might as well be of them at a festival or one of the many scenes they played at. In the rehearsal room all the way out on Amager, Kashmir is depicted practicing for their second studio album. Lastly a drawing of the three in 2015 playing in a “musical elder commune” that they bought for the many money they’ve made throughout their career.

Thanks God Kashmir turned their sound into something more influenced-by-Radiohead and oriented to Space rock and Dream pop. This is quite a mixture between Nirvana, Frank Zappa, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sublime that I'm not really into. In the 00's they found their unique sound and the accurate balance between explosive and dreamy. These fellas on screen maybe never imagined having David Bowie and Lou Reed in one of their albums.
