This is an amazingly detailed documentary. Completely unbiased and stating facts. India has been too lenient in the two wars when Pakistan attacked and lost. Exodus of Kashmiri pandits also is very sad. Hope this resolves once and for all due to the article 370 scrapping. Wars and conflicts have multiple causes. There is a religious element but also an economic one. China supports Pakistan because of the economic element. The economic corridor will bring in much needed resources (especially oil) into western China which will help develop those regions. Otherwise, China is anti-religion and anti-Islam (shutting down mosques in Xinjiang every day and sending Uighur youths in concentration camps).

Gizza That’s true but it’s hard to mobilize people into wars and terrorism for economic reasons. So it has to be something emotional that relies on blind faith. Islam’s intolerance of other religions provided a convenient way for leaders in those countries to mobilize the ignorant Muslims into committing terrorist acts. It’s not that easy with Buddhism and Hinduism since they accept all belief systems as valid. Economic reasons may be the end but religion is used as a tool everywhere in the Islamic world - from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

External forces need to stop meddling in Kashmir affairs for their own selfish needs. Leave Kashmir as an Indian territory and peace and prosperity will prevail. Why? Kahmir is a place that does not seem to want any end to its religious quarrels. Hyderabad, on the other hand, has moved on beyond its past to a secular future where science, modernity, rationality, respect for all religions, coexistence, neighborliness, etc flourish. Go visit both and see for yourself. If you are not satisfied, go visit Kerala to see much of the same as Hyderabad, plus the tremendous beauty of the land.

@@ajm4074 The UN resolutions clearly said : 1. Pakistan is aggressor state. Issue is between State of J & K and India. Pakistan has to vacate all occupied territory in state and handover the vacated territory to India. 2. India has to minimize its forces to the level required for maintaining law and order. 3. India to set up impartial plebiscite administrator nominated by the UN and conduct plebiscite in state. But, Pakistan asked for time to vacate its occupation and never withdrew its forces. As 1/3 state of J& K was under occupation of Pakistan and this was clearly non-compliance of conditions leading to plebiscite, hence India could never conduct plebiscite.

I and my family were in Kashmir during June 2018, the day we left Kashmir for New Delhi and back to Bangkok,Thailand, that day was the first day of attacking in downtown. We were in the last flight allowed to left Kashmir. So shocked and worried about the situation too.
