Due to certain historical mistakes, the innocent locals had paid huge price in all the fronts and in fact generations have lost their future. The program on Kashmir has never been told so clearly and so analytically by any one so far and this is the best. Let peace be showered once for all.

What was Kashmir like in the 11th century? Here's a poem by the great Indian polymath from Kashmir Abhinavagupta, describing his motherland: Where people are poetic and wise, Where even warriors are articulate, Women of cities lustrous as the moon And charming in their gait, Where accomplished female practitioners of yoga are Bright as the spark of fire Particularly due to the complete opening of the path of the shushumna nerve in them they are also lustrous as the sky in the state of the lunar eclipse Where the wine known as madrika Brings maturity in the talk of love of lovers In which part of the world people get engaged Confidently and unobstructed in the fare of love Where the Gods take interest in remaining engaged in the delight of the chakras and where departs the joy of life and blessedness of liberation where contemplative practiotioners of yoga, munis dwell at various spots And where does Shiva dwell himself all the time. I therefore consider Kashmir As the proper place of yogic accomplishments Siddhi there is no place on the whole of this earth Which may compare with Kashmir in this respect Nor in the respect of contentment or fulfilment of all aspirations.

Remember the low of nature. India is supposed to be a sanctuary for the majestic tigers. Unfortunately the damage to India started after the British started to kill your one of the most beautiful animal that was a blessing from one of the Hindu godesses. India must save more tigers to become extraordinaire super power country. Killing tigers will be disaster for your country. India should have two flags other with a tiger that will become the symbol of strength and stability and spiritual bond of different peoples of India. Blessing of Shiva will be with you.

Like many Saints and Gurus in India who deny to convert their religion and surrender themselves to destiny, Late Girija Tikku is above any Saint and Guru and never converted even handling such adverse circumstances. Her life is a lesson and huge salute to her like we do to any brave person in last centuries. Like Warriors of Hindustan, 10 Gurus or Other Saints who remained stuck to their beliefs and brutality happened to them. She is above all and Salute to her. She deserves to get a National Holiday and acknowledgment on her name. Hinduism is alive because of such great souls.

Sumit Singh oh bhai sahab, i think that this dispute will never solve as there are many who do not want it to be solved. How is it possible that in this world of immense modernization a land dispute cannot be solved. But baat yeh hai ke if this dispute is resolved then what will army of both countries do? Those who sell weapons to these countries, what will they do? How will ur politicians do politics and make their vote bank? I say your politicians as ur leaders bring up Pak as their main enemy in every election campaign. They have made u all hate us by telling u all sort of things. Our politicians have their own internal hatred against each other plus war with india or hate for india has never been anyone’s agenda. Try to talk to our people. We do not hate but we do dislike ur politicians as they have only poison for us and they are poisoning their public minds. Open our text books, u wont see anything about India more than a paragraph. Believe me hating India as our enemy country is not on our list. In foreign countries we all get along well. Infact u ll see very fast and deep friendship. Right now the extremism that Modi govt is supporting, will have very dangerous results for India itself too. If u claim to be a secular state then u have to be very careful and caring towards other communities. With love, care and good manners, there is nothing that cannot be achieved. But it has to be from heart and with right intentions. I am sure Israel is playing its evil part here as well. I hope if not ur govt then ur general public should play a positive role even if it is against the govt. people power is everything. If Modi was so interested to resolve this issue, why didn’t he call all the three parties on one table to give it a last chance? Imran Khan said again and again, if India will take one step towards friendship, we ll take ten towards her. So why didn’t he try IK? I also think that in this WHOLE thing Kashmiris too played their politics. They should have decided it long back, who they want to be with. This could have avoided all the bloodshed in last 70 yrs. no one is here for humanity. It is lust of power that wont last forever.

This is an extremely biased Indian narrative, overshadowing the current genocide taking place in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir. All I hear are sorry excuses as to why they are killing the local people and of course, ill-reported and misleading facts. If Kashmir is a Muslim majority area, why would Pakistan not be in favor of plebiscite?? Does that even make sense? I can't even start with how ironic this whole video is. People are dying there, it shouldn't matter what religion or cast they are, and that is enough of a reason why INDIAN military aggression must be addressed before it's too late. If my people were brutally killed by the foreign armed military, I would've rebelled too, STOP labeling it as terrorism or propaganda.

Could somebody help with a question I have. If Pakistan was created for the Muslims and India was basically a Hindu country. And everyone was moving to whichever area their religious beliefs controlled. Why didn't the Sikh ruler of Kashmir declare the land a Sikh State. I get the population was above 70% Muslim. But millions of people were already on the move at that time.

Lot of injustice for a piece of land. I am sure that the issue can be resolved with dialogues among people and countries involved. But no one wants a clean solution. China wants to capitalize and drain resources and energy from Pakistan. Now I understand the issue is much complex. I hope a better future only lies with development and education. People need to know that they are being fooled by some people in power for their vested interest. I sincerely pray now that Kashmir issue should be solved. Pandits should be given their state of honor and Pakistan should stop the rise of militancy from their end. All the problems started with partition. Had it been a one Great nation Hindustan we would have paved the road of development and progress. We were engaged in our petty differences and we axed ourselves for our greater loss. One Great nation Hindustan, that was and will always be a joke. Look at Sikhs in India. All Indian politicians wants are Hindus in India, no one else. Hindus are unjust towards other societies, that is why partition was necessary and will be again if Hindu people treat other people like they are doing now. Look at Modhi, you see a man of all people, nope you see Hindu propaganda.

Hyderabad, on the other hand, has moved on beyond its past to a secular future where science, modernity, rationality, respect for all religions, coexistence, neighborliness, etc flourish. This is an extremely biased Indian narrative, overshadowing the current genocide taking place in Jammu and Kashmir. All I hear are sorry excuses as to why they are killing the local people and of course, ill reported and misleading facts. If Kashmir is a Muslim majority area, why would Pakistan not be in favour of plebiscite?? Does that even make sense? I can't even start with how ironic this whole video is. People are dying there, no matter what religion or cast they are, and that is enough of a reason why Indian military aggression must be addressed before it's too late. If my people were brutally killed by foreign armed military, I would've rebelled too, STOP labelling it as terrorism or propaganda.

@@ajm7850 Pakistan wouldn't like the plebiscite because.....even though kashmir was a muslim majority area......they did share secular sentiments and did incline towards india......at least that's what I understood from the video.....there were many people who liked the autonomy and partial integration with india......if u say that Pakistan wouldn't want a plebiscite just because they were muslim majority....then why did pak try to invade and kill so many people? Why did it try to annexe Gilgit? Why didn't they stop attacking when the water treaty was made? What are they so desperate for?

The history of Kashmir is much much older when it was a great seat of learning. Kashmiri Hindus have been driven out of there in many many waves long before the current conflict.

Nehru was a genius and got his beloved Kashmir into India. When we have an effective leader POK shall be liberated. I am a Dogra from Jammu and know the true history of this region. Read the Rajataringini it tells the reality. Kashmir is in reality Aryan Central Asia and though always had a small population had ferocious fighters., Islam came to Kashmir mostly via Sufis and most people in the Valley are recent converts to Islam from Kashmiri Hindus. Kashmiri language is Daradic (picked up,few Semitic words via Islam) and related to the proto-Aryan language which is mother of Rigvedic-Sanskrit and Avestan-Persian.

@@Triptab Use your real name if you have the courage. Rajataringini was written in Sanskrit long before Islam ever existed. There was little if any peaceful conversion. In the 1980s I met even moderate Muslims that decided to leave the increasingly radicalized Kashmir.

Thank you. Very clear that Kashmiri people were not given their inalienable right for self determination by both India and Pakistan through military & political intervention.

Kashmir should be an independent state with autonomous power instead of consuming the scarce resources militarily it will contribute to the growth of economic progress in both India and Pakistan.
