Well said lone sir. Your head is clear and gives me hope. As a south indian i see kashmir far off but I am excited of the potential of kashmiris. Journalists like Barkha have tooo much baggage and tint in their view.. Kashmiris and kasmiri politics should get deeply intermingled with rest of india and lets take away the "islam' factor completely.. so what if kasmiris are muslim majority. Rest of India does not care. We just need kashmiris to get on with the program and be a flower in this bouquet we call india. There is so much work to do.. but to sit here and talk about seperation or joining pakistan or distancing from India is no solution.

If I understand correctly, BJP’s hardline stance is not against the common people of J&K. The hardline stance is: 1. Talk only with people who believe in the Constitution of our nation, upholds the integrity and sovereignty of our country 2. No talk with the separatists 3. No talk with Pakistan who have pointed gun at our temples 4. Zero tolerances towards any act of terrorism So what’s wrong? The present government of the day has failed miserably in ensuring social security, integration, harmony and unity. PM should have personally taken care of social harmony and social unity as number 1 priority and championed it. Instead he kept quiet and his party blamed it on other governments in the states. The constant onslaught by anti-government media has also exemplified and amplified this fear psychosis.
