Kashtin est un groupe légendaire! Leur album le plus populaire est remplis de chansons entrainantes et de ballades possédants une signature particulière; un chef-d'oeuvre que beaucoup on fini par oublier. Je possède une vieille cassette et je ne me lasserai jamais de l'écouter! Beaucoup de musique ont été créé depuis...mais personne pour les remplacer, ni même les talonner. Il demeurent unique !! Leurs chansons me rendent nostalgique; ils me manque !!

I've loved this band since 1990, when I first heard them. They were friends with my ex boyfriend who was also a Montagnais Indian from Betsiamites, Cote Nord, Quebec. I met them both twice, and Claude Mackemzie even shopped at the little store I worked at in Montreal. Very decent men, especially Florent Vollant.

Kashtin was my first concert ,we got last minute tickets from one of my mom's co-workers,i was 11 years old and the concert was in downtown Montreal & it was my introduction to the group.I remember dancing to the beats with many first nations people,i had a great time there.Great music & memories. Kashtin etais mon premier concert,j'avais 11 ans lorsque un soir un collegue de travail de ma mere nous a donnes 2 billets pour un concert au centre ville de Montreal,je me suis beaucoup amusee.
