You're right. It costs them $80 for the machining, silicon, boards, fans, PSUs, and research and development. Are you kidding me? Do you realize how much it costs to develop ANY product, let alone an ASIC? While yes they are charging insane prices as people will pay it, it still probably costs them 3-4k each for those 10k machines. But here's the kicker...when the price drops suddenly on those coins...if they don't make their investment back quick, the prices won't maintain on the devices and they will begin LOSING money per machine.

The price has to go lower for the miners. The yield will and there is no way to get your money back unless Kaspa price goes through the roof. I dont see it happening either. Just one more coin that ASICs ruined. Between kaspa's too aggressive reduction schedule and to Asics too high in hashrate and price. It was the perfect storm, again! 😢

we have invested alot in green energy specially in denmark where i live yes its expensive sometimes (sometimes we alo get money to use it if we produce to much) but that also does we can sell green energy some days for more then a btc miner makes.. we do look for ways like mining to optimize our green energy... with expensive electricity also comes expensive heat, im heating my house with btc miners because it makes sense i have my miners conected to a heat recovery system in the winter. i never seen anyone do that anywhere outside eu, so i do think some of the knowledge when it comes to heating is leaving the states these years we would never waste a valuble waste product like heat where im from like allmost everyone in the states does.. we can sell the heat if we are lokated where there is a heating grid i just think the difference is we are not doing it to mine direct profit in eu in many cases, we are more doing it to get best profit out of our green energy im not looking at what my miners make, im looking at how much my house makes all together. im looking at this video thinking he forgot step 1 free energy, i have seen prices rise 4x over 20 years.. he is putting all his eggs in one basket i can run my btc miner a few hours a day on solar and make the same profit as these american youtubers that are running 24 hours on 10cent electricity

i would also love to see some numbers on how many in eu drives a EV compared to the states the energy use in the states will rise like it have done in eu, and the cost for electricity will rise like we have seen in eu america and china cant keep burning coal and ask the rest of the world to pay for it we are kind of done with importing american teslas like we are done with chineese crap now a btc miner on solar makes 4-5 times more then it does on the grid at 10cent and no doubt we have alot more solar in eu then in the states.. and is just the beginning, we have some pretty big projects comming in northern europe the next 5-10 years.... we have not even started with hydrogen yet for example that needs bigger scale then we have i pretty much think btc mining btc in the states are dead compared to in eu when im looking at the facts
