They came out of a culture that DIED in 1914 when 19 year old Gavrilo Princip, waiting on a corner in Sarajevo for the expected arrival of a fat Austrian named Franz and his innocent wife Sophie, fired off rounds from a pistol he just happened to have and a civilization self-destructed and was replaced with a blood thirsty monster. Probably the very peak of Western Civilization and, now, the decline as the militaristic and psychopathic New Rome, with just barely an intellectual tradition, pushes its hegemony, not into brutal and blind Theocracy as did Rome, but into Human extinction and a boon to the rest of Earth... This is such a brilliant little waltz, and your interpretation of it is amazing. Chopin always manages to make everything work in His pieces. He doesn’t overdo anything and He isn’t missing anything. It’s just perfect. His waltzes are among my favourite solo piano pieces ever composed, there is no such thing as a boring Chopin piece. Anyway, I was wondering whether you’d be able to do his waltz in e minor (opus Posth No.15). Fun fact: actually this piece paved the way for the modern day Nokia tune!! See, there was a Spanish composer Fransisco Tŕrega who composed a piece-- gran vals. A small section from that ( at the beginning) is the original Nokia tune. Now he said that, he took inspiration from a short musical phrase (actually the main theme) of Chopin's grande valse brillante. I think it's from 00:05 to 00:12 . So this piece is related to Nokia tune!!
