I have one and NO LOOP on the shoulder straps for a retractable set of forceps. Just ONE more loop in addition to the ton of features I probably will never use and it would be a perfect fishing pack.

Dude,put the butt of the rods in the little pockets under the velcro,for support.And also helps secure the rods vertically so they are not flopping around😁
