Stil remember was listening to this bc i had both anxiety and depression along with insomnia and when i stay awake late at night when everybody was asleep I listen to this powerful song that i back then felt that is really describing me especially the " i may seem crazy but its only cause im...run runnn" bc back then nobody understood me or what m having or the struggle taht m going through so instead i looked crazy for them now m much better and i achieved my dream of being a medical student ....moral of the story : no matter how hard its been be strong enough to fight back everything is temporary even pain.

I realize I am so late to make these comments but I have to say this. I am so happy to find this singer. I found her because I have been doing karaoke and as I go and find a song that I get a better response with or feel that I had an easier time with it I look for similar singers to challenge myself with. I have tried to expand this way. Well this past Sunday I did "Dandelions" by Ruth B and it got a decent response. So I google Similiar songs to Ruth B and Faouzia came up and so I googled her with Karaoke songs. I went through a few of those songs and came across this one and man when I first put it on I was like "this is a woman as her notes are so barritone at first (or maybe tenor) but then she moves into alto and I am going to guess (I am not an expert okay so forgive me if this is wrong) even mezzo soprano notes. I absolutely love this song because I can relate to it and I honestly think it's about spiritual warfare. I have had really bad dreams that seem out to get me...some I feared I would get stuck in. Some I believe were past life issues that weren't good. I also have dealt with a narcissist and they have a way of eroding your reality and slipping into dreams when you finally do your best to block them (as you learn that's the only way to deal with a maladaptive person). Also from crazy experiences and just knowing there are not so nice (invisible/ethereal/meridian/spiritual) energies out there that thrive on fear and dark thoughts sometimes the only way is to run to a better place to be able to get to a better spiritual way. So here she has this song that is such a great song for me as it holds meaning but she also sings it with the profound power and has this insanely awesome range. I promise this next part ties into this song but please read whole thing: My son who has very good taste in music (he is 18 and when he was little and I had the radio playing he would often say "turn it off mom" so I started to wonder if he hated music but he just didn't like a lot of the mainstream as I found out when he suddenly would play Etta James or Ella Fitzgerald or Nina Simone on KZbin and was blasting in the house. When I discovered one day that I got a really good response doing Sam Cookes' "Wonderful World" at karaoke one night I was looking for songs on youtube next day of him to try and thought my son was going to say "Turn it Off" so I turned it off and he said "turn it back on". I talked about doing Tracy Chapman "Give me one Reason" one day and that I worked on it to get it right and he said "yes cuz she is a really good singer". So for a while I thought he just liked old school music but then he found rap songs that he loves and he will love it if they have good chords (or construction I forgot the term he uses). Anyways, I got my mom to listen to this song and she thought it was strange but interesting so I got my son to listen to it and he was like "yeah that is good" and when he heard the end he said "I even like that" like he has said things about certain songs being too long or not ending right. So I think the fact that he liked it as well says it's an amazing song. Now I have tried singing this twice and I have a lot of work to do to hopefully get some semblance to her....wish me luck.
