During the 1000 year reign or what some call the millennium, we who are in Christ from before the rapture, will be eternal creatures while there will be regular people born on the earth (and who will need to be saved). Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. So there will be nations, and people just like there is now, only Jesus will be in control at the top... and he will give US his eternal people assignments around the world. Some of these things are pieced together from different Scriptures, so no one really has the whole picture of what will happen. There will be peace for a 1000 years with the devil in his pit.... Jewel and Violet, ruling and reigning with Christ is an ETERNAL PROMISE..Not just a temporary one that is limited to 1000 years. We will rule and reign over All angels and All creatures in the land and in the sea in the NEW EARTH. Just like Adam was to rule the earth and subdue it, so shall we for the rest of eternity along with Christ Jesus. Not all of us shall rule and reign with Christ! That means, that we shall also rule and reign over people who did not live their lives in total obedience and failed to fulfill their destinies. Such people shall be servants forever and ever. Only those who overcome and live a life of total obedience and surrender to Jesus and walk to fulfill their destinies will Rule and Reign with Christ.
