I love Kasia and she thoroughly deserves this victory. However, SD Worx tactics today were absolutely crazy. To set Demi up for an attack on the penultimate climb, when the riders she was supposed to bridge over to and then help her in the valley, had already been dropped, was complete numbskullery. Demi used up so much energy holding the other favourites at bay on the descent and then the valley floor, that she then didn't have the legs to extend her lead on the final climb. Utter amatuer bs from SD Worx, yet again. Demi has proven time and time again, that on a long steep climb, she can attack with 6km to go and build up a significant lead. She didn't have to go early...it was a suicide run! But again, well done to Kasia - she is an absolute superstar!

You nailed it! SD Worx set up a sophisticated plan which failed early. They could have adapted easily to the situation, the last climb is long enough to build up 1 min. Instead, Demi was alone again.

Kasia was great, and should be praised. Demi needs to leave SD. They have lost her 2 grand tours. She has been the best rider for GC for the past 2 years or so, with distance, but SD is just a poor team (with great riders). sprinting for 7th after pushing Demi to the ground and having no one around Demi is absurd. But the incompetence of SD should not take away from Kasia's achievment.

Not entirely satisfying, for it's clear that Demi V. would have won had she not been bumped off her bike, and Kassia N. should have waited for her, but claimed that she did not know that Demi V. had fallen. A failure of Tour de France standards. But Kassia is now among the top top women riders. While Demi V. is the best by far.
