Don't worry. My Uncle was a prison guard. The things he could tell you of what goes on inside prisons. And that's usually when inmates are being good. Indeed, not only exelent anime, that didnt require to have stupid fanservice everi five seconds, or super robots with so cliche teenage boys that screams like they can acomplish everithing screaming, but a franchise with good well writen characters and episodes, awesome games that introduce you characters and situations that are very well done, in my opinion anione that wants to do a robot anime must watch this series and play the games

All of your viewage on this video has reignited the fire within in me that i've been missing from the Sakura Wars series for over a year. I'm gonna finish everything and I mean everything. I'm gonna playthrough every game, review every single one of them, review all the tv shows, ova's, and the movie, and give my closing thoughts on the entire franchise meaning The Sakura Wars Channel and Sakura Wars Extras will truly be complete! It may take awhile and I may run off to do other projects but one day it will be finished! Also there's a special project that i've been working on that is sort of a dark, violent, and vibrant successor to Sakura Wars that would be a hybrid animated live action web series that would start out with a short film. I think SEGA announced a new Sakura Wars game at Sega Festival 2018. But we don't know the release date or what systems it will be for. I hope they can release it in North America like the upcoming Valkyria Chronicles 4, as well as have an English dub option!

TMX1138 Recently Iwakura Productions has been doing reports on progress of the fan translation of Sakura Taisen's PC port - atm the script's been pretty close to completion while the editing is going to accelerate. Closest project to being at completion by their end too. It might not be long before we can live the grand beginning of the series's glory.

This is such a great series, if only they localized 1-4, and/or made a new game. it's such a shame. at least the series gets some love in Project X Zone 1 & 2... Yo there! Your channel and material has been an amazing showcase of dedication for this series that I just got into via emulating. Really enjoying Sakura Taisen 3 here along with seeing your playthroughs and like! From all the amazing craft and love put it through the games, fans and the performers, I keep quite feeling that this series is very unearthed legend. Very sad, but again, it still had it's prime, and might still be loved for that for next times to come. Anyway, I came here to tell that me and my sis are doing attempting a webcomic crossing up Smash Bros 4 and Project x Zone for a slice-of-life themed comics. We're attempting to include Erica Fontaine in quite a major role on the first comic arc to spread awareness of the series for people stumbling on our 4-komas. The scripting is going quite well here - once again, thanks again for all your efforts along with other dedicated fans!

You know what? Importing this series was a leap in the unknown. I really had no idea of what I was getting into. "What? Girls? Guns? Robots? Jet planes? Aliens? I don't know what the heck this is but hell if I'm not going to play the heck out of it!" And after the superlong intro...a great dating sim with memorable characters, a strategy game that was actually deep and entertaining, and overall a game that you just want to play again...and again, and again and again and again and oh god I'm in an endless loop of replaying, someone stop me! ...The fifth episode was great for the dub too.

Actually, the original and its remake use Gekitei for the opening with Disc 1 using the first verse and Disc 2 using the 2nd. Gekitei Kai is for ST2 and has 2 new verses with verse 1 of Gekitei being the last verse used for Disc 3. Mihata no Moto ni is used for ST3 with verse 1 used for Disc 1 and verse 2 used for Disc 3. Verse 1 of Gekitei is used for Disc 2. Only verse 1 for Gekitei (Saigoshou) is used in ST2 and only verse 1 of Chijou no Senshi is used for STV.

The only way you can watch the anime is if you buy it or illegally watch online as there is no way to stream it legally on Crunchyroll per say. It's from the Ps2 remake of the original Sakura Wars called Sakura Wars Atsuki Chishio Ni (In Hot Blood). I have absolutely no idea why they're fighting in space. That never happens in the game.

Type "sakura taisen budoukan" into the search bar, it should be one of the first options. What happens is there is a store in Japan where the voice actors are all in cosplay and sing songs from the game. I'm pretty sure that's what you're talking about.

The fourth game. Search "Ogami Kagekidan full version" for the full version. This is a game series and while there technically is an anime, I can't in good conscience recommend it, it isn't very good. Unfortunately, most of the games haven't been translated. Although the fifth game has and it's pretty good for a game from 2005. It was for the ps2 and wii and i got the ps2 version, which is essentially the collectors edition, for $25 on amazon.

Yeah! I've been playing through the game now and I can say that all the Sakura Wars characters have major parts in it. Heck even the level for the demo on the eshop is The Grand Imperial Theatre for crying out loud. It seems that Sega actually cares about Sakura Wars even though they treat it as their own personal Mega Man at this point.

Really Interested in this Anime, just wanted to ask how the story develops throughout the show. Does it start off slow and introductory or is it a good mixture between things? I'm going to watch it regardless, because I love the art style. I just wanted to ask that's all ;3

The show does a great job in showing that Sakura Wars can survive without it's dating sim wings and can just be a character piece. The lead male protagonist, Ichiro Ogami, is reduced to a very minor character which is fine. All in all it's a great place to start out your Sakura Wars journey but i'd suggest getting a Dreamcast and playing through the games because that's where it's at. And don't let the dating sim trope mind you, it's more about understanding the psychology of the characters then dating them even though that is thrown in eventually and even then it's very light. But that's just my opinion anyway. -The Sakura Wars Channel
