The way he always looked at her... ahhhh!!! They were absolutely perfect. Only complaint is that it was too short. The last episode needed more of them

This is how you write a slow burn! 👏👏👏 Season 2 was so good! Jonathan Bailey is PERFECT as a Regency gentleman. He gave me serious Darcy vibes ❤️❤️❤️❤️

They love eachother so much,so Anthony marry her not her sister, marry Kate

Could they not afford a wedding band for Anthony? That is one of my pet peeves. Jamie Fraser doesn't have a wedding ring either.

men did not wear wedding bands during that era

Can you imagine how wonderful it would have been to see them marry to preserve her reputation after the bee sting and her subsequent request to defer the wedding night? Such scenes had me wishing they'd been more true to the novel. We'd have seen their love develop within the story...

Same, i wish we had more of the amazing book scenes but when you separate the two they’re both masterpieces on their own
@voulafisentzidis88302 жыл бұрын
@@missdalina608 absolutely. I very much enjoyed the series and will watch it again, more times than I can count given the limited number of programmes of interest.

Nah. Another forced marriage would have been dreadful. Seeing two people finally giving in to their overwhelming love for each other was a far more satisfying story to watch-- especially two incredibly strong-willed characters. I also much preferred these versions of Anthony and Kate to their book versions, even though I enjoyed those versions as well. I enjoyed them in the book, while I adore them in the series.

I love the bôk, but for me I don’t like they are married by an accident and Kate is insercure. I don’t like love triangle as well, Netflix should stop it before the wedding, maybe at the dinner with sheffield.
@voulafisentzidis88302 жыл бұрын
@@huynhgiao1670 seeing it through my happily-ever-after lens, I didn't see it as an accidental marriage. He kept thinking about her in the book, way before he realised his feelings which he fought with every ounce of will he had. I think it's normal in the beginning to feel insecure, and to not see the depth of feeling in your partner.
