Fun fact (not really fun) but my city had an accident happen with Cesium 137 in 1987 and it’s the biggest radiological disaster, after Chernobyl. Some people found an old X-ray machine at a old abandoned hospital e took it home to take it apart and sell it. While doing it they found the capsule with CS137 opened it and thought it was beautiful bc it’s blue and I glows in the dark. Shared with the family (including a kid) and neighbors, some died and some people are still feeling the effects of it through health problems like cancer.
