I just recently got her and plan to take her to R5 but can’t ascend yet (already have Aegon r5’d and ascended) but have heard Kate is better on resources. The perfect release is the toughest part, refreshing is way easier than nailing the release.

Kate applies a crushed passive debuff for about a second after landing a heavy attack against the wall. Crushed basically means the opponant can't block the next attack. It is quite handy

Aegon takes like 15 revives to ramp up, so there's that. If you're good enough, you can solo fights with Kate, or get through like 5 fights or more with those same revives if you aren't that good. But it's still a better progress imo.

She is way better than Aegon, but playing her requires skill and focus. First, you need to make sure that you are comfortable playing her.

Aegon is a champ who can power thru with his combo built up. Where as, Kate has a unique play style who will need some practice with her perfect release and constant refresh with heavy.
