i love the drummer. just complex enough to not be boring but not too complex so its overpowering the music. also super clean.

The Line in the song "Untitled" where she says "I thought getting old would make me strong" really hits. Personally, I speaks heavily to my inner child - and I feel like it would for most people. So often, I thought that when Im older all of what happened in my childhood wouldn't hurt me. I don't know if it's because I hope to have understanding of it or what but I found that it just made life so harder.

nice sound. simple direct. (i bought yer vinyl records i could find). i like that your stuff is laid bare and not over produced, or too much effects. indie jazz songs similar and unique , but mostly unique. your voice has a nice feel in the register that it is in, within the sound of the band. high treble speak-sing phrases, against floating wandering bass, sparkly keys, sparse guitar speaking as alternate thoughts, and rhythm guitar lazily behind-beat like good ol’ jazz feel. , with tight beautiful-sounding drums… the interplay of the rhythms of the voice against/with the rhythms of the snare are excellent. i like to listen to music at really low volume, sometimes, and just feel the moods without really hearing the words, and they are just like Architecture, shapes and colors deep and direct, effecting fireflies, birds and underground crallie things, childlike and those who still have the ears to hear musicsongs….. good stuff -ps. that was cool way to mix your records. simple and direct. even if it was by accident or lack of time money or experience, it comes across bare and beautiful, with chill laid back jazz swell…. thanks, keep going, and stay the same, fresh and alive ps… please only use real drums. machines cannot make rhythm sections. real drums ebb and flow and very subtly slow down and rise up in speed, like a sway, just like out in nature in the breeze and streams and bird songs…. play r and b or hiphop styles with real drums. and so many people crave to hear this played live and whole, and human. to me a drum machine is just like a humming refrigerator or rattlely fan making the same noise over and over exactly the same. bad vibe. like being stuck in high school. be free. and keep writing
