Such a humble and sweet person. Six years later (1985) Kate released one of the best albums of all time, "Hounds of Love". A true Masterpiece of music. You should also let David Gilmour, Elton John, Prince, Peter Gabriel, Eric Clapton, and two thirds of the music artists of the last three decades that they are all wrong. OR.... She came from a very musical and gifted family which really grounded her and she knew from a very young age what she was destined for. Also a very private person too which I think is why she didn't do tours very often. I loved Kate Bush from the moment I heard her playing on the radio in the kitchen as a child thinking wow who is this singer she's so different to everything I've heard before. She came from a loving and very supportive family which made her into that totally unique and strong minded and driven person she was. Such dynamic and thought provoking lyrics penned from a young teenager, she was born to be the performer she was. A one off without doubt, I haven't seen anybody like her since and doubt I ever will. She's settled now and living a quiet life with her family. She deserves it, she blessed us with such beautiful music over the decades since she came from nowhere in the late 70s and dazzled us with her theatrics and ethereal voice with Wutherung Heights. She's simply brilliant, no superlatives could do her justice.

I remember watching this when it went out how many of todays pop stars realise that the wireless head set mike was made for Kate first so she could be dancing and singing at the same time? She was revolutionary then and now. My ex boyfriend got a kiss on the cheek from her on the first tour she did at the Birmingham date and I was fortunate to get tickets top see her last live event in London. It was indeed an event not a concert. I LOVE HER just wish she had done more live events she is an enigma

Kate Bush seems otherworldly even now. What kind of impact did that carry in the 70's and 80's?!?!?

It was Kate's live shows that really underlined, not just her talent, but her innovative approach and her all-round search after perfection. In so many ways, she was ahead of her time. In an age when most singers/groups stood and sang, Kate dared to be different and had the imagination and ability to pull it off. I've been an avid fan since 1978 and will be till I die. Bless you, Kate, for the decades of pleasure.

I’m the same age as Kate but back when she was first on my listening radar and on tv I though she was like 15 years older than myself. So Sophisticated and deep with life’s lessons . Wow, she still looks great

So that 7 great albums, which is great many artists get 2 good l.p.s but the 3rd is hard for them, this is what puts K.B. way above the others.

I went to the tour twice - once at the London Palladium and then at the Hammersmith Odeon, on the night they filmed the video of the concert. I still think of these concerts, as they were my first ever pop concerts I attended - what a way to start! I still love Kate! 😍😍
