Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights (KD Remix 2023)

This is a fan-made remix of the unforgettable song by Kate Bush called 'Wuthering Heights' that charted at number 1 in the UK in 1978. I remember my Dad playing this song when I was very young. It sounded incredibly melancholic and somewhat spooky to my younger self - perhaps this was the song that pushed me to the darker side of music. Who knows? An epic track made brilliant by Kate Bush's otherworldly vocals. I have tried to create a retro synthpop version of this song - this may upset some purists (I am very sorry in advance, but variety is the spice of life etc etc). I hope that this version is of interest to some people and has been a worthy endeavour. I certainly enjoyed doing it and learned new things when trying to put this together.
I obtained Kate Bush's vocals using AI and I have also inserted a sample from the intro of this song. Otherwise, the instrumental backing track is all my own work.
If the writer/licence holder wants me to remove this video please let me know.

Kate has so many different sides to herself, which is probably why other's couldn't define any category of music she fell under. Nonetheless, 'dark music' lovers are simply born this way, because it's impossible to teach others how to enjoy it for themselves. I adore this version.

I still wonder how he worked around the alternating 4/4 and 7/4 bars in the refrain.

I am not an expert on time signatures, but I managed to use a 4/4 throughout. It meant I had to splice the vocals at specific moments to make them fit. Thanks for listening.
