She auditioned for pretty much every musical that was turned into a movie, and didn’t get one role. She did “Glee” - that’s about it. It’s the classic an actress can’t be taken seriously as a musician while they’re in the middle of their career… she waited until she aged out from movies. It’s great that she had a backup plan.

It wasn't until lockdown during covid when she decided now was her chance, and if she didn't take that chance now she'd regret it. She most definitely has not "aged out" of acting! She's still smoking hot and talented.
