It's a darn shame Kate didn't let her ask her question. I feel your daughter was thrown away after Kate found out Ezri also liked Picard. Btw, was she named after Ezri Dax?

she did not throw her under the bus. She was very gracious

Your daughter Ezri did a great job! We were there. Kate was very gracious and funny, as always. She also teaches us all to stand tall and use our voice.

I finished watching Voyager, & I was so sad. But I came here and wow. Absolutely wow. If I wasn't already head over heels for Janeway. Intellectual. Inspirational. Emotional. Passionate. Down to Earth. Real. A real person who did an exceptional job at what she loved to do, and genuinely changed lives for it. Mine included. If Voyager has ever been your reason to get out of bed, for real, you know what I mean.

THIS was an excellent video. Great clear audio. OMGD Ms. Mulgrew is a powerhouse and an excellent role model for all women and people in general about life. I admire her strength, spirit, positive outlook, everything. Mannn, I would have loved to see her impersonate the classic actress Katherine Hepburn, an actress I adored as a kid ie. movie "Bringing Up Baby" The first time I saw Voyager pilot I thought to myself that she, Mulgrew was like Katherine Hepburn, just a strong, powerful determined personality. Thank YOU Heather Ferris for posting this wonderful Q&A most enlightening .

Liked Voyager best because of all of the strong female characters. Chief Engineer, Chief of Astrometrics, and Captain: all women!
@mistylucysanchez5 жыл бұрын
i agree. Voyager because they were lost were more like the original, and i liked all the crew, well except kess, but that was fixed. but voyager was more about exploration of new societies like the original, than next, ds9 and other.. I wish they had made movies from it.

Kate bringing the little girl up on stage was great. Should have let her ask her question but they're pressed for time so I get it. That was probably a better experience than her question ever would have been. She got to fucking hug Captain Janeway.

You know, I didn't really like the idea of a woman being a captain. Couple that with the fact that a woman captain gets them LOST HELPLESSLY IN SPACE. (Leave it to a woman to get them lost). And I REALLY didn't like Kate Mulgrew. I don't know why but she always grated on me. That completely changed when I saw her as Cap. Janeway. Janeway moved up in rank with me to heights of Jon Luc Picard. I really took to her after Voyager. Janeway is one of the most powerful, and noble captains in my mind.
