Kate sounds a bit controlling here but Imhan said the same thing basically. I think Kate is scared of what Rana's parents might do to her, they detest Kate. She's talked about it with her fam but not Rana, perhaps because Rana can't see them harming Kate.

I don't like this Kate. Ima need the writers to give us back sweet, fiery, and laid back Kate, because this one is to pushy, needy, and controlling. (And need I remind you these are the some of the same things she left imogen for). I understand the need to be cautious about zeedan, because he does want Rana back, but still she's starting to become very demanding and I don't like it.

I don't think she's controlling but she does see Zee as a threat and has a right to since he is a bit manipulative.. She's also very protective right now. I do think she should atleast act like Zee doesn't phase her so it makes her seem less insecure.

I agree with you. Kate is letting her own fear kind of dictate the trajectory of Rana's feelings instead of listening to her. If she wants to keep her ex-husband in her life-especially now that he's being quite lucid about the whole thing-that is her prerogative. Kate may be scared and want to protect Rana, but she has no right to try and predict the future by telling her that her parents will never come around or say that she can't be close to Zee, when Kate hasn't really caught up with him in a while to see where he's at.
