I'm going to pin this on every video tonight. The writing for these episodes was shockingly bad really. Kate was not our Kate. I don't even know what to say at present, I'm just rushing to edit. It's hard viewing because Kate was written out of character. I love them both and I know it was all plot driven so Rana hits rock bottom but it shouldn't be at the expense of Kate's character. Please take that into consideration when commenting. I know it hurts and I'm breaking for Rana :( Thank you as always for putting up with me and sticking with them and the impending angst ALSO, NO Kate & Rana are not over. Far from it. As I said, this is plot driven

I couldn't follow all the speaches because of my hearing impairment but I could understand most of the events and I agree with you. If Kate were our Kate they would have been togheter in one episode, they are doing this to Rana character to make it complex and longer. Well, what can I say... I can't wait to see these new videos with subtitles and I say thank you a lot for sharing and for always been so quick with the upload!

stephkt right?!??!! Overall all these scenes were so poorly written and were actually quite juvenile in their execution. However, it didn't stop me from having hardcore and intense reactions. And I guess that was the point? This whole Kana affair has been as delicate as a house of cards and so I guess her confession was the shifting of just one crucially placed card...the rest of the house is bound to fall. Plus with other storylines and plot points to be told I guess it makes a small bit of sense that the writing lacked some tact.

All I'm gonna say is even tho I'm extremely disappointed & angry in Kate's response to Rana revealing the affair to Z and then not being there for her woman but I pray that this is not the end of kana and it's just the beginning of them. After this heart ache they come out strong together and be together forever bc they are one another's true love.

Just watched both episodes. Absolutely fuming. FFs, Rana has been outed again. Kate, no consideration for Rana, where is the support or the promise to be with Rana. I am fuming, it was OOC for Kate. Poor Rana.

mumihp I agree. Something strange with the writing happened tonight. Kate wanted Rana to tell the truth for ages and when she finally finds the courage to do it, Kate's like, we're still over. What happened to ' I'll support you all the way'. Well that was really supportive, well done Corrie.

I read its because Rana will be emotionally blackmailed by her parents to stay with Zeedan. Zeedan will be offered money and he will consider it. I think Corrie is making Kate act like a twit and with Sophie so Rana is alone, rock bottom. I don't know what...but I think there could be a story line where Rana tries to commit suicide, all the episodes is leaning towards Rana being along, in pain and misery with no support from anyone. There have been instances in the Muslim community where people have committed or tried kill themselves. I think the reaction of Rana parents is bang on, they will sweet it under the brush. I hope Corrie, unlike today, redeems themselves and gives the story-line justice. This is bigger than Kana, this is about Rana, a Muslim bisexual, trying to accept herself and not let the stigma from her community dictate her action. Anyway, still fuming from today's episode. Kate, character development with Rana killed in less than 2 episodes.

After perfectly analysing about Kate's reaction is bc Rana only said to Z that she is in love with someone else and was seeing someone else but still didn't out herself to her husband that she was actually seeing Kate so point to be noted. Therefore I'm trying my best to comprehend and not be disappointed for yesterday's epi bc Kate was not there for Rana but I still think it's human nature it still should have been natural for Kate to be there for Rana as Rana is the love of her life.

I read next week, the truth comes out to the parents and the parents will offer Zeedan money to stay with Rana. Rana has no on in her corner, everyone forcing her to stay in a loveless marriage and Kate....well she is up there with Sophie. Also, Zeedan behavior, OOC, especially next week when he will take the money. Rana, she should forget everyone, they are not worth it. And also, when Kate has her realization, at this point, I am not sure if I want a Kana, because Kate was a twit in the episodes today. Rana truth destroyed her marriage, she will lost Alya, her parents ashamed and even Imran telling Rana to stay with Zeedan. Poor Rana, with no one on her side.

One thing I like better about Kate's character vs Rana's is that K seems to have a life of her own. I empathyse better with her motivations. It seems unfair to me that her world must stop spinning because of R. Maybe R's character should develope some friendships outside her marriage. The poor thing could use an external ally, for sure

I know it's a tad cliche, but I think it's kind of lazy for Corrie to have had Rana's first time with a woman be during a lunch break and off screen. Not that a soap could ever give lurid details but something more than a suggestion that the act was done would have been cool. Maybe a little after scene where they both make comments about how they feel having first slept together or something...no need for heavy kissing or ripping clothes off. * Sigh * oh well.....

They don't really have endgames in soaps..Unless both actresses leave at the same time. If they both stay then you have some sort of endgame, I still would argue that Sophie's is Sian. There's no one else for her really. Kate & Rana are too popular for them to be placed long term with any other character unless Faye or Bhav leave
