You can see how they all react in different ways Johnny is emotional Carla is trying to distract herself and Kate is angry but she isnt angry at Aiden she's angry at her self

Reko evo It's to provide context. We can't please everyone, some want it, some don't. The other channels just have the Kate & Rana scenes but this is a big storyline, done well too so it's one of those times that I think it's fair they're included. It also adds context to Kate's anguish etc. You can always skip through their scenes :)
