James Cameron...I really thank you for making my life seem much more valuable....thank you for making this amazing movie ..and for learning to me what real love is...and that even 3 days are enough to find your soulmate...and even if you lose him in such a disaster...you move on ..and try to survive....Thank you..for everything.....JAMES CAMERON...you indeed are the BOSS>!
@elenasingleterry58546 жыл бұрын
Well, the finding love in three days thing is a bit romanticized in the movie, it is a bit more complicated in real life. Nevertheless, this movie is the best!
@victorsamsung2921 Жыл бұрын
@@elenasingleterry5854 How about Rose surviving and Jack dying as being romanticized? 3rd class male passengers did survive though on the Titanic. About a 100 of them I remember reading. I accept the wooden door-frame was too small for Jack & Rose to fit on together and keeping in mind Jack's gentleman concern for Rose's safety etc. However, what I don't accept is: 1) Jack *not* wearing a life-safety belt throughout the entire sinking; 2) Jack going back to Cal's bedroom and getting caught with the diamond necklace in his pocket, after knowing Cal must have found the drawing and Rose's biting wit message: _"now you can keep both of us locked in your safe"_ and it be like going back to the scene of a crime etc.; 3) Even after Jack was shown to be incredibly smart and having loads of common sense (e.g. stay on the ship as long as possible), that he couldn't fathom the wooden door needed more buoyancy and not attaching his lifebelt underneath, like Mythbusters did. That way both Rose and Jack could have survived. Either way, you're right. The movie remains great nonetheless.

he is too modest. i am critical jackass when it comes to special effects but titanic is pretty much flawless even today. im not forgiving anything when i watch this film. all i see is beautiful cinematography, excellent music, a phenomenally perfectly picked cast which results in a film which IMO will stand the test of time in 100 years.

When you watch this you have to remember James Cameron was at the bottom of the Pacific ocean only a matter of hours before. Completely up to his eyeballs in tech and the mission and people around him and then he's whisked away, washed and brushed, flown around the world thrust on the worlds stage and then this guy is put in front of him to talk about this huge epic film that he directed and produced and edited and generally broke records with. Who the hell could ever come up to his mark?

It's great what Jim says about diving to the deapest point is something you can't take away. Being quite simply the most groundbreaking, epic, lovable and strieght talking film maker with the two highest grossing films (one over 1billion and another over 2billion) is something that isn't going to dissapear over night that's for sure.

Those times before a movie was out there were always shady reports about it and people still will go and watch it and decide by themselves whether they like it or not, now, if someone in social media say the movie is bad even when the movie is not out there yet, a bunch of morrons say is bad too just because someone else says it too and they are missing big time..

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE THAT MOVIE! It's my favorite movie period ... But still... that wasn't real love...
@elenasingleterry58546 жыл бұрын
Agreed. The love story was very conventional and romanticized, doesn't quite work like that in real life, and people don't start "loving" (as opposed to infatuated) each other after the total of maybe ten hours spent together, but this movie is the best ever nevertheless!
@jeffk17226 жыл бұрын
Yeah, very true, but at least it wasn't the abusive BS situation that she had before - quite possible a more mature love could have developed, had Jack not - you know, spoilers...

Jack died for Rose and Rose lived her entire life in memory of Jack... How is that not real love? lol.
@cherrypickle83324 жыл бұрын
@@brittanybutleredits It would be classed as infatuation. You can't know someone on the basis of a three day fling onboard a ship. She spent the rest of her life unrealistically romanticising someone she'd barely known. They'd have gone their separate ways when the novelty wore off. (That being said, Titanic is still my favourite film of all time and I love Kate and Leo!).
