Kate Winslet talks about 'Contagion' being one of the most streamed films during lockdown and reveals that the writer of it got in touch with her at the start of the pandemic to tell her that it was happening in real life. As a result, Kate says that she and her family started wearing masks before most people. She also reveals that when she was recently filling in an online form, it auto corrected her job title from 'Film Actress' to 'Full Mattress'.
Graham is joined by Kate Winslet, Stanley Tucci, Orlando Bloom, writer and comedian Aisling Bea, and rising British star Kingsley Ben-Adir. With music from Silk City featuring Ellie Goulding.

The scene in contagion in which she realizes she contracted the virus and performs contact tracing on herself is incredibly realistic. We train health care workers to remain calm and pragmatic, even in the face of death. This film stands up to most scientific scrutiny. I recall one review mentioned that they got the vaccine development wrong - it was too fast to be real. Well, it’s been a year into this pandemic and we have multiple vaccine now available. This movie is worth another look.

Tbf it was actually based on the work of real life epidemiologists who were predicting a pandemic was going to happen. Hence why a lot of it is reasonably scientifically accurate.

predicted in the sense that based on ongoing research by scientists at the time, they knew what a global pandemic could look like, how people would react to it, etc. They obviously didn't predict it woud happen in 2020/21/22. The pandemic has largely played out the way they showed it in the movie.

Jesus is the only way to the spiritual kingdom of God and there are many who do not find it due to our pride God wants to help but if we resist him and do not want to listen he is holy and will act accordingly to his righteous and not ours, if you want to search deeper there’s a book called do you know the author of life?
