I only discovered Kate about a month ago, I was looking at tributes to Nanci Griffith, who passed away on the 13th of August this year and, I just a video of Kate Wolf singing Green Eyes, I was blown away by her singing guitar playing and the song itself, so I have sent away for a got a video of here A Night In Austin and a couple of CDs, I have now listened to Green Eyes about 30 times now, I think it's the best thing I've heard for many years. She is a great loss to the music world.

I heard Nina's first public performance (it might have been a house concert? though that I'm not sure about... it was a small concert, in Sonoma County). She played a solo on mandolin; she was studying with Don Coffin, Kate's husband, and they introduced her. She was amazing then, too, of course - as was Kate! We lost Kate way too soon.

Voice of an angel. Peaceful and heartfelt. I can't thank you enough for the upload. I feel lost now. There was a time in the late 70's and early 80's when Kate's music (and other similar artists) helped me find myself. I would respectfully suggest that the line is "before you know you're mine". "Don't fall in love too quickly, before you know you're mine" which has an obscure meaning that I don't really understand. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've always heard it that way...
