One of the few spy movies to give a reasonably accurate depiction of cryptography. This is partially because they took seriously their historical advisors and not just took some inspiration like the Imitation Game.

It's hardly historically accurate when they turn Alan Turing's homosexuality into a psychiatric breakdown and pretend he was in love with a woman. You might as well pretend Nelson Mandela was Caucasian.

The clip unfortunately begins about a minute too soon, just after she tells him in no uncertain terms to treat her as an equal and explain how the code breaking process works, before she agrees to help him.

Holy crap he looks so different from Ever After! I don't know if I would recognize him if this didn't say it was him.

This movie is a disgraceful insult to the brilliance of Alan Turing and the foul an inhumane treatment his country subjected him to. Alan Turing is a hero, and he should be held up as a proud gay icon for people to aspire too.

It's a good movie but I think Cumberbatch was better as Turing

Doesn't anybody really get this film? It is a novel, by Robert Harris, loosely based on the work done at Bletchley Park but is FICTION!!! Dougra Scott is not meant to play Alan Turing, he is Tom Jericho in the film, just as Kate Winslet is not Joan Clark (Turing's finance for a while). Why does everybody try to equate this film with the real characters at the Park during the war? As for Benedict Cumberbatch - I have nothing against the man personally, in fact I think he is a very good actor, but for him to be playing Turing is about the biggest example of mis-casting I have seen in a long time! At least Eddie Redmayne looked similar to Steven Hawking in "The History of Everything" - for which he won the Best Actor Oscar but Cumberbatch is nothing like Turing. As far as "The Imitation Game" is concerned if you know nothing about the history of Bletchley Park or Alan Turing (pre and post BP) you will probably find this film very entertaining but if you do know this history (who most of us who work at Bletchley Park do) it is an awful film with so many errors, mistakes and, let's face it, lies it really isn't worth watching. "Enigma" was a far more entertaining film!

Jason Bourne Ah sorry, I actually thought it was Alan and Joan in this scene. And yeah, the movie does have historical mistakes, I'm talking about the acting tho.
