I have been myself using AI - Midjourney and Dreams - and I am absolutely amazed with the results, but I never thought about AI for the 'writing content' - I built a planner for soccer mom with TT Turbo and chatopenAI. i cannot believe the amount of time I saved from designing to uploaded on KDP. Hi Claudia, thank you for reaching out. From a licensing point of view, we are fine with you using TT to create books on any platform. TT is set up for KDP's trim sizes, some of which may overlap with other platforms but some may be different, so you will need to check whether the trim size matches, but if it does, you can use TT. I'm not sure what you mean about KDP cutting back but maybe I can reassure you :) I know various rumors fly around KZbin and Facebook but this has been the case for years because these kind of threads/videos tend to get attention but are frequently exaggerations or misunderstandings. Publishing on KDP is safe if you follow their policies - they've acknowledged and accommodated low content books on the platform and I've uploaded several low and medium content books and planners in the last few weeks without any issue.

Hello! Thank you for watching. TT works in the standard 17 trim sizes supported by KDP so if you’re using it for that, it should be fine, wherever you are. If you would like different dimensions or would like to check we cover the ones you need, please do email us at [e-mail] - we do have quite a lot of German customers :) our templates are in English but you can edit them completely to change the language and upload your own fonts. I’m not quite sure what you mean by updates. We post them here as we make them :)

We've been updating Tangent Templates since 2018 and added stacks of templates, features etc. and users haven't had to pay anything extra, we just roll the updates out to everyone. We do have a Gumroad store at katharyne.gumroad.com so we may sell extra add-on goodies there, like our image packs or other products, but we're very transparent about it and TT doesn't have any upsells or anything like that inside the system.

Yes, you can use the tools to create printables and downloads, but if you're using our templates or images, please check the licensing as we have slightly stricter rules for non-book products (the key one is that you can use a maximum of 5 different templates per product and they have to be modified with additional text/images). Hi! Thanks for watching. This is a good question which I partially address this in the video. But to go a little deeper, AI doesn’t work in that way - it doesn’t store any database of content like traditional software does so there is nothing to regurgitate. ChatGPT works in the same way as graphic AI tools do, by training on data, meaning it has analyzed millions of documents to understand various arguments, writing styles and pieces of data so it can generate its own original responses to queries. This is why it is known as generative AI because it doesn’t regurgitate data, it is designed to generate original new data which fits the complex structure of rules it has built from training on data. Now that said, if you prompt ChatGPT with generic questions like ‘give me writing prompts’ then it’s going to generate generic answers because it will give the most simple/best answer it can, based on what it knows of writing prompts and the chances are other people will be given those same prompts. And that is likely to cause problems so you’ll see in the video I explain that it’s important to use prompts that are specific to your project to get original content. Ideally you should be specifying the type of content you want, the subject matter and the tone of voice. By doing this, you can actually prove what it’s doing - you’ll see that it’s writing custom text. For example, try something like, “10 journaling prompts to help lonely 13 year old boys. The prompts should involve the adventures of a space traveling St Bernard. Use a cowboy tone of voice.” - there’s no way to plagiarize the resulting content, it would pass any content check as original.
