You will find your way but yes - uncertainty sucks. I hope you hear back soon from graduate school and can decide where the next step is leading to. Nothing is a waste of time - even the phases „in between“ can teach us a lot and to be able to sit with yourself, to brave anxiety and stay strong is always a win and shows courage. 💪🏻💪🏻 If it‘s any consoloation I had to endure a whole year of „what the hell should I work“ after getting my degree, then chose the WRONG path, had to go back to choose better and now I‘m working as a bookseller and freaking love my books day in day out (even though customers can be very stressful and rude haha).

If memory serves, your birthday is in the final days of January. The bangs are awesome. I finished Silvia Moreno-Garcia's The Beautiful Ones recently...it's probably my least fave of her books that I've read (Certain Dark Things is my fave, followed by Gods of Jade and Shadow, The Daughter of Dr. Moreau, and Mexican Gothic). I'm more than halfway through reading Velvet Was the Night now and and am enjoying it on par with Daughter.
