Thank you for this series! Just because nobody else mentioned it... You went to town before 9am. Everyone was closed because they had not yet started the day. I believe the Forge Tables (and some other things) are modifiers for the job tables (I think they make things take less time the more you have of them up to a point).

Thanks! Took me a while to figure out that they are closed (more eps coming where I am bewildered! haha)

On the trees, they are not full grown until they have full leaves. The tress with sparce leaves yield much less wood than others. I do feel like they have too many assets for the same type of tree, but usually the trunk is the best way to see what it is, at least for me. The decoration mode definitely needs to be more pronounced. The little build icon on the lower left isn't always noticeable. Heh, you're hitting the exact reasons I stopped playing right off the bat. I would just spend days gathering fuel and resources to keep making consumables and they last a day and half. They need more staff options to automate a lot of tasks outside of the tavern. The Forging Tank reduces the crafting time of items made in the Forge zone (forge, crafting table, blacksmith table) by 10%. IIRC, they stack 5x so you can reduce the crafting time by a max of 50%. On the rug being blue, you can change the style to change the color and different patterns. On the recipe prices, the price listed is the base, adding ingredients do add to the final price based on their price. There are some bugs though as it's not always the correct amount, might be fixed now been several months since I played. On the disruptive customers, they will always need to be kicked out. If they are in the tavern for a while, it will decrease the amount of reputation gain from other customers. Wait so all the ordering through the mail is gone and has been replaced with the markets in the city? That really adds more time to the Run Simulator part of the game. Ugh. To add to my other reply on accessibility, in a previous life I was an accessibility tester. I sent the devs a long list of accessibility issues with in the game and suggested fixes for each item years ago. I didn't get a reply and *none* of them have been addressed in the game. Adding these changes in closer to release is so much harder than earlier in development, and, generally speaking, upsets the existing user base when you make changes the UI. All of that makes me think they will not make any meaningful changes to address the inaccessibility in the game. Easily the most disappointing part of the game for me.

I also had a long list of accessibility and QoL fixes that I sent, and were also ignored... As far as playability, the game is MUCH more playable, though the XP gain is much slower. However, now that there is a bouncer, you can let the tavern run itself, completely unattended for the entire day. That allows for more farming time for rocks, trees, etc. Im quite a few hours in now, and have never run out of fuel or iron, copper, or stone. I do feel like the money gain is much slower because now you really have to make a huge variety of items to please the customers and get max reputation gain.

It is true that rust is red, however iron ore can be black/dark gray, if its magnetite (Fe3O4)

There towards the end, you were swinging your scythe as slot 4 was equipped, which was what your character was swinging on screen.

I believe developers decided on colors based on bars rather than ores and they wanted consistent colors so players wouldn't be confused. Also, if they used ore colors, silver would be black which would get confused with coal. Or they were just doing what everyone else was doing ;)

There is no silver mining as far as I am aware.

@@KatherineOfSky sorry, I meant game development in general, not just for this game. I really don't understand what I meant with the last sentence in my original post.

Just started the playlist for this series. It looks like the order is messed up later in the playthrough. Just thought I'd give you a heads up. ❤ Love the videos KOS.

I like the idea of having to go to town for certain ingredients, but I don't like the new way of learning recipes. I'd rather that not be attributed to some mystical fantasy element.

I suppose you could call the "mystery element" Inspiration.

why dont't you use some auto-clicker or macro, if clicking is so bothersome? Just press one key on your keyboard while hovering an item which requires a lot of clicks.

Huh?

@@KatherineOfSky Several keyboards/mice have a way to program them to do different things when a program is active. For example, I use mine exactly as they are suggesting, while this game is active I can hold down the right mouse button and it runs a macro that clicks the left mouse button once every 0.5sec so that I don't have to keep clicking ad nauseam. I also have an option to click once and it will run until clicked again. I use a Corsair gaming mouse and their iCue software to manage the macros.

@@chimmy_jim The issue is that the UI needs improvement. You shouldn't have to buy a new mouse or download 3rd party software to play a game. In the interest of accessibility for people with medical conditions or mobility issues, the game should allow for MUCH less clicking.
