I related to the loneliness after losing Frank, my husband died in 2000 and my children don't live with me and I still reminisce about how great my marriage and husband was. This is quite an eye opener for me. I roam around with my own perspective but it doesn't mean it's correct but I roam around with my own unique perspective w/ girls.. but then I realize I'm liked because I'm unique. No matter what anyone said I thought I had to play some part but those moments it never works and didn't know why. Eventually I gave up trying to to copy some sort of image and just talk how I do it and it works a lot better for everything. I realize now people want original and unique which my entire life is. Maybe I should approach more often now.

I thank you for your testimony. You are an inspiration to me. This spoke to me when I was emerging from a dark valley in my walk. It came as I struggled to wait just a little longer, and I had to dig deeper into God's Word because there was a timing issue. I, too, am doing this on my own, as my extended family is far away. You are so Brave! Where I live there are a lot of elderly whose family/friends have passed on. This is a very quiet epidemic in our country. I do wish that neighborhoods would learn to reach out more in the spirit of giving and caring and not harm these people in any way..... So many are lonely, from all age groups. It may a good thing to be alone, due to so many users/toxic people who drag may drag us down and just try to connect with people who are doing positive things.

I have all 3 of Kathie Lee’s recent books and look forward to reading them. I love your enthusiasm when you talk about your relationship with God and Jesus. I also had an unfaithful husband after 30+years of marriage. When I found out and he confirmed it, I thought about how you faced your situation with grace and forgiveness. I told him that I forgave him (after a day or so of intense prayer and talk with God). My husband has not ask for forgiveness from me but I gave it verbally anyway. He did go to reconciliation so I’m guessing he confessed to God his transgression. Our marriage is badly bruised but we are still together at 44 years of marriage. I feel God brought us together and as long as I can keep my “Eyes Upon Jesus”, God will continue to give me the strength to persevere in this life. Kathie. I don't know if you read any of the comments....but like you I became a Christian through Billy Graham. It's been a remarkable walk these last 39 years. A mixture of joy and sadness but at the same time always knowing the goodness and the kindness of God. I lost my daughter 22 years ago and my wife two years ago. Daily I see His kindness towards me. On October 8th, 2014 I lost everything. I mean everything, and during this time the Lord Jesus Christ put four little words in my mind. FAITH, STRENGHTH, PERSAVIRVANCE and OPTOMISM. These are the four words that held me together in dark times, and the four words I'm building my second God given foundation on. By the way I don't go to church, not since I was a child. I'm not baptised, I'm a great sinner who broke almost all the commandments, except one. Do unto others as you would like to be done unto you. When asked what my faith is, it is Evengelical Baptist.
