I recently searched for paruppu usili recipe and hit your video. First time and from that day till now about 15 days I watch something from your channel everyday. Don't know to express the joy it brings to me, kindling old fond memories, remembering my dear Patti, my house, the discipline enforced growing up in iyer family, food, everything. Pitla is borrowed name from maharashtrian cuisine. Rasavangi is palakkad. Main difference is in the amount of spices used which renders different taste to the dishes. I also add some peppercorns in rasavangi but not in pitla...
