Written recipe:
Chickpeas: 500 grams/half kg
Follow the boiling method if you don't know, like me. 🤣🤷🏻♀️
Don't throw the water, we'll use it later.
Potato: 3 boiled in half tsp haldi/turmeric for colour.
Lets cook:
In a pot add 3-4 tbsp oil.
Add:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Haldi/turmeric
1 tsp zeera powder
1 tbsp Red chilli flakes and powder
(You can taste and adjust everything!!!)
Cook the masala to avoid rawness
Add the boiled chickpeas now with the water.
Mix for 2 minutes. Add 2 cups of water cook.
Add the boiled potatoes now and cook on medium flame for few minutes.
Make a slurry:
4-5 tbsp water mixed with 2 tbsp cornflour.
Add it to the pot, mix on high flame.
Add 2 tbsp imli pulp.
Taste and adjust.
Masala:
Dry roast and grind:
1 tbsp whole coriander
1 tbsp zeera/cumin
Half tbsp chaat masala
3 button red chilli.
Serve with onions, tomatoes, paapri and prepared masala! ♥️
