Just wanted to stop back to here to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I just finished taking the 5733 at home, and I'm thrilled to say that I passed with a 186!! My content area is English so if someone like me can manage a passing score, I promise that you can too! These videos and the study book for 5733 (very affordable price compared to other alternatives) were all a godsend to have leading up to the exam! I strongly believe that I wouldn't have passed if not for the content provided by NavaEd. So once again, thank you to you and your husband for everything you're doing to help students like me get one step further towards teacher certification!

@@RoaringMind In September, on my birthday (first day of school) I broke my arm in a electric scooter accident. I had already booked my praxis exam for 9/18 and I didn’t want to change it because I would have to wait 28 days to retake it. So even though I wasn’t studying because of my accident (it was painful, I missed a lot of work, and I was on medicine) I decided to take the test WITHOUT STUDYING FOR 2 WEEKS just so I could register for 28 days. I guess not studying worked for me (I guess it relaxed me and I wasn’t obsessing) that I passed with a 154! I couldn’t believe it! Who knew that the secret to passing was breaking your arm and not studying lol. I’m officially certified now and hired ♥️ thank you for asking ♥️

I have taken the math section of the praxis core more than I would like to admit...It's almost embarrassing at this point. I watched your video and the way you explained the information and how you demonstrated your knowledge has exceeded my expectations for a KZbin video. hi Im preparing for the Praxis core math by watching your videos. Thank you they are very helpful. Can you help me figure out this problem? 1. The mass of Box A is 3/5 the mass of Box B. Given that the total mass of the two boxes is 112 kg, what is the mass of Box A. 2. There are some pupils rehearsing for a performance in a hall. 1/3 of the pupils are practicing singing, 5/6 of the remaining pupil snare doing dance steps and the rest of the pupils are playing musical instruments. A) What fraction of the pupils are playing musical instruments? B) If 18 pupils are playing musical instruments , how many pupils are there in the hall together?

That's pretty good (73%). Go through the skills you were low in. You want to be at an 80% accuracy to be safe to take the exam.

if I was able to complete all of these problems easily, how representative is that of the rest of the test?
@KathleenJasperEdD3 жыл бұрын
They are very representative of the test. However, I only did a few questions here. We do have a math book for this exam. You can see more about that here: kathleenjasper.com/products/brand-new-praxis-core-2nd-edition-digital-study-guide?variant=40654933065884 Or you can see how you do with the questions in the study companion. Also listed in the study companion are the skills you need at at what level they are assessed. www.ets.org/s/praxis/pdf/5733.pdf Hope that helps. Have a great day and thank you for watching.

I did not follow what you did in #52 at all, could you explain? What is a common denominator? Why did you put 5 and 6 squared?
@KathleenJasperEdD3 жыл бұрын
It's equivalent fractions. You first have to convert the fractions to have a common denominator. Then compare.

Can someone explain how she got 50 in the first math problem?
@KathleenJasperEdD4 ай бұрын
Hi there. Here's the explanation: Minerva used 32 feet of string, which is 64% of the amount Estrella used. To find out how much string Estrella used, we can set up the equation 0.64𝑒 =32, where 𝑒 represents the feet of string Estrella used. Solving for 𝑒, we divide 32 by 0.64, which gives us 50 feet. Therefore, Estrella used 50 feet of string. To find the total amount of string used by both girls, we add Minerva's 32 feet to Estrella's 50 feet, resulting in 82 feet of string used in total. Hope this helps. ~Kathy Customer Support at Kathleen Jasper LLC
