a trick to make them last longer, rub a small amount of vaseline on your pulse points and spray your perfume on top of them. That used to happen to me where it didn't last and now it last forever!!! I've literally have rubbed off my perfume on people and still smelled like it the next day!! Try it and see if that helps with the bottom 5 perfumes, hopefully that helps!

Kathleen....I used to have the same problem with JC Sucre fading fast....till I tried this trick. Rub a little vaseline or oil on your pulse points, then the perfume on top. Now I get 8hrs from it :)

Pink Sugar does last for a really long time! Weirdly for me when I use it I start the day smelling flowery-sweetvanilla, middle of the day almost chocolately and warm-ish and at the end of the day like a bakery (if it's a really hot day I end up even with a hint of pistachios or a nutsy scent). I really like the perfumes that smell good even if they change a little after some hours.

I totally agree on the mademoiselle review.. I wear it daily (not to smell “fancy” but I love the smell and I don’t have to use much for it) and it lasts DAYS. It literally lasts so long, and the longer you wear it the better it smells in my opinion. I apply in the morning and by the end of the day it smells sweeter than in the morning. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to splurge on a high quality fragrance!

Fun frag. tip, if you apply a bit of scented or non-scented lotion where you are going to spray the perfume it will help it last longer through out the day! Just spray the perfume before the lotion completely dries down, while its still a little sticky.

My favorites, in no particular order: 1). Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel 2). Allure by Chanel (although I haven’t worn it in sooooo many years) 3). Flowerbomb 4). “Stella” by Stella McCartney (soooooo good...perfect light floral scent for springtime👌) 5). Narcisco Rodriguez For Her (in the PALE PINK bottle; omg it’s SO good!!) 6). Elizabeth & James White 7). So many Jo Malone fragrances, but my favorites are “English Pear & Freesia” and “Wood Sage & Sea Salt”; all of her scents are beautiful, although not always the most long lasting..🙁 8). Blvgari - Omnia Cristalline 9). Bvlgari parfumee au the Blanc !! Just remember Bvlgari “blanc”...omg, it’s good; light and airy and so beautiful 10). And just about any other fragrance from Bvlgari, too, bc they are ALL good! 11). Chance eau Tendre by Chanel 12). Tom Ford Santal Blush (if you love sandalwood; a good winter fragrance because it’s pretty intense like most TF fragrances are) 13). Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue OR Light Blue Intense (lasts longer) - a staple for summertime and a classic for sure; lovely light, clean, fresh, citrusy scent; 14). “Angel” and “Alien” by Thierry Mugler; Angel is light and beautiful and ethereal (think summer)....Alien is warm and sexy and intense (think winter); and the newest one is good, too (Aura) 15). A newer fragrance called “Arizona”...and I can’t remember who makes it (the names of two guys, I think, and starts with a “P”) ; perfect summertime fragrance 16). Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc (perfect summery beachy scent👌) 17). Trish McEvoy No. 9 BlackBerry & Vanilla Musk 18). Si by Giorgio Armani - if you like strong, heavy, longlasting fragrances; just ONE spritz is all I need and it lasts forever. I’m sure I’ll think of more once I hit “send”.....but that’s it for now. I adore fragrances (fragrances and lippies are my two downfalls 🤷🏻‍♀️) and I love to layer body wash, lotion/cream, hair mist, and fragrance whenever possible..... One fragrance I do NOT care for at all is Pink Sugar. Go figure! I think it’s just too sweet and not “complex” enough for me. But for those who do like it, you’re in luck because it’s the least expensive/most affordable of ALL the fragrances mentioned here.

To make a perfume last longer, dot some beauty oil where you would normally dot or spray your perfume and sort of mix the perfume in slightly. The oil will keep the perfume from evaporating into the air too quickly or from absorbing into the skin too fast too. I know you have very dry skin and that is probably a big part of the issue. Hope this helps! :)

We're on opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to perfume: I prefer more deep, "masculine" scents and tend to lean towards niche perfume houses. But I love fragrance so frikkin much, that I still appreciate these videos a whole lot, so please, keep doing them ;) Top 2: Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille (although TF perfumes in general last a long time), L'Occitane Eau des Baux (affordable but top quality). Bottom: Jo Malone colognes in general, and Wood Sage and Sea Salt in particular, don't last very long. On one hand, it's understandable because they're in a cologne concentration. On the other, it's a shame because they smell nice and they are quite expensive for having such a poor performance.

PlugInKali I'm the same! The second she said sugary and sweet I was like "oh no...." I prefer masculine perfumes to the point where I have bought stuff that is more "male" oriented I like Commodity - Wool. Very woodsy, earthy, (but doesn't smell like straight pinesol) and its crisp and it has a slightly sweet bourbon vanilla finish that doesn't smell like candy. I also love Maison Margiela - their beach day fragrance is wonderful. Also, Dancing on the Moon. Sweet but with a sort of masculine edge.

I make my own for myself and with a few essentials, it’s pretty easy. The hardest part is trying to come up with the scent in your head but I just made a beachy scent (but not like sunscreen) and it turned out better than I expected. I wear it all the time and love it. Anyways, all that to say, yes!!! She should make her own and if she nails a scent she loves, take to a company that makes perfumes and I’m sure she could sell tons of it!

There is a scent called Choco Musk that's available in my store that has a strong vanilla scent even though it's supposed to be more chocolaty. Versace Bright Crystal Absolu is the most long wearing perfume ever. I swear , perfumes just don't last on my skin. I'm naturally oily , I also live in Vegas where it's dry and hot and I get sweaty in .5 seconds lol. But that perfume can last for the moment I wake up , throughout the hottest day of the year, and still be there the next morning. On multiple occasions I've wore it from the early morning, throughout the hottest day, took a shower, and woke up the next morning still able to smell it. It's unbelievable

xisobelx373 It's a beautiful mature but still every day scent. It's nowhere near as floral scented as Marc Jacobs Daisy , not as sweet either. It's sweet but more of a mature sweet (sorry if this is confusing , it's so hard to explain scents lol). However, I do believe Marc Jacobs Daisy is less expensive than Versace Bright Crystal Absolu. I have YSL Black Opium and it's one of my favorite perfumes as well, but it doesn't last on me either. Same with Dior Absolutely Blooming. One of my favorite scents but doesn't last at all. I like the Elizabeth and James perfumes. They last quite a while on me and smell really nice.

It depends on your body's pH what a perfume smells like on you AND how long it will last on you. Now you can rub a very small amount of petroleum jelly (vaseline) onto your pulse points before spraying your perfume to make it last longer.

Sheila Bryant I use an un-scented lotion, rub it in mostly, spray the perfume and then rub the lotion in the rest of the way... the lotion melts the fragrance into my skin and I don't feel greasy after.

byKateB yes, same concept. The petroleum jelly is hypoallergenic and holds the fragrance longer than unscented lotions but either way, it gets the job done. My favorite fall/winter scent comes with a coordinating lotion in the holiday gift box; so I use that too. 😉

Kathleen.....top tip to keep your perfumes good, you need to store them in a cool dark drawer/cupboard this will keep them good, it is only when they are on display and come in contact with the sunlight that they go off as the bottle heats up and cools down effectively "cooking" what's inside.....so if you want to keep them for a long time....put them away. I have bottles still in their boxes 5 years and they are like new.....P.s. have you ever tried Angel by Thierry Mulger?? I think you would like it.....xPx

Grace Stevenson if you go to walmart, they have these knock off body sprays, they have 2 caps, with floral designs on the stickers, it comes with a lot of product.. i own the bombshell victorias secret knock off one, they have poppy by coach knock off, that spray smells so good, lasts forever, and costs like $6/7.

Me too, I've been wearing Viva La Juicy since middle school. One perfume I have been LOVING the longevity of is YSL's Mon Paris. It comes in a beautiful pink liquid in a crystal bottle with a cheeky black ribbon tied around the top. Its sugar sweet in a grown-up and sexy way. Its my favorite date-night perfume. I can still smell it on my wrists after a shower the next day. One perfume I was upset about is Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream. I am in LOVE with the scent and the packaging, but no matter where or how I apply it, after about 4 hours it is long gone, never to be smelt again. :(

OMG I honestly almost thought you weren’t gonna mention Black Opium !! because that perfume is somehow my favorite but is so frustrating because of its Non lasting power! So I definitely agree with you! HOWEVER When I was working at the post office I had a customer, and I smelled her from behind the glass! You might want to try Molecule 01... not the essential Molucule 01 but just the reg molecule 01. It's iso super e. It has a woody type scent that makes some people smell like they work with wood or cedar. Some people use it as an amplifier for their own fragrances if they don't last long. You can far is pretty cheap on fragrance net.. or scentsplit.com. But... daaasss espensive! Hope that helps.
