+mizuni etude house has some okay makeup but their skincare is NOT a good example of Korean skincare. most of their products have fragrance (breaks down collagen), alcohol, and are just full of filler and no active ingredients. EH is the same as many American drugstore brands but in cute packaging. I do like their Dear Darling lip tint and they have some nice cool toned brow stuff. for anyone interested in Korean or Asian skincare in general I recommend starting with Benton (especially the aloe toner, snail essence, and snail cream) or Hada Labo (particularly their lotions and milks from their Gokujyun and Shirojyun lines). They're on Amazon, they're affordable, and you'll see results quickly because they're all actives and no fillers. They also work for sensitive and acne prone skin.   If you like the idea of Asian skin care and want to build a multi step routine, I would check out Goodal, Cosrx, Mamonde, Scinic, Banila Co, and LJH in addition to those other two. Biore and Hada Labo have amazing sunscreens too. Also sheet masks! anything from My Scheming or My Beauty Diary as amazing. Sorry that was long! Asian skincare is just so far ahead of most American skincare brands and has transformed my skin. Unfortunately though YTers try the "cutesy" products and assume all Korean skincare is like that.

I fell off watching makeup tutorials for a couple weeks because of how busy my schedule has been lately, but I happened to jump on KZbin today and the first video on my news feed was Natasha and luca's video on you. (ThatVeganCouple). Because of my break from youtube, this was the first time I heard about the change in your diet, and I can't even begin to explain to you how happy I am for you. I transitioned to veganism about 2 months ago and seeing one of the people that I look up to care about health, animals, and the planet so much is truly special. I also wanted to tell you that yes, you will receive some negativity (unfortunately), but PLEASE, as hard as it may seem sometimes, do not let it get to you. The benefits weigh out the negativity, I promise. Anyone who sends any negativity about your lifestyle change is either uninformed or speaking from a guilty conscience. I am also begging you to not stop talking about this because even though someone will always have something hateful to say, you are helping so many people and animals and the planet by talking about this. You have such a vast audience, and so many people look up to you. As long as you stay informed and keep stressing the facts (eating plant-based doesn't have to be more expensive, you DO get enough protein from eating plant-foods, etc.) you will help more people transition. Things get better over time. The negative comments were bad after I first transitioned because in their minds, it came out of nowhere, and they were uninformed (or misinformed.) After time went on, and I stressed the facts, they got used to the idea and things are fine now. (Except for the occasional rude stranger, but that happens anyways, vegan or not.) All I'm saying is keep your head up, remember why you're doing this, and be PROUD to be you. Aside from veganism, aside from makeup, before everything else, you are an amazing, intelligent, funny, compassionate human being. Don't let anyone else make you feel "less than." 💜 always

don't worry I'm sure you'll get there and the plus with luxury makeup is that they then to be moved to.outlets.pretty fast!! I have purchased Bobbi Brown and Tom Ford and ysl for about 25-70 percent off of their original prices I get.my baby doll ysl mascara for 19 bucks when the outlet stores have an extra 20% off but definitely look for luxury department store outlets and even cosmetic outlets you can even find some perfumes :)

kathleen, I dont think the Dior foundation broke you out. a product cant break you out that fast unless its a reaction not a break out. If you used it before with no issues then I really think youre fine and the problem was something else.

I was just about to comment the same thing. Breakouts like acne take days and even weeks to form under the skin before they appear on the surface she was probably experiencing contact dermatitis people always mix the two up.

Chanel perfumes are one of the last brands that manufacturer their own perfumes which allows them to have that potency. they grow their own flowers extract, blah blah it's purer if that makes sense. btw love you boom

I think its only ok if drugstore makeup includes those dinky brushes for beginners. Even if high end brands got rind of those brushes they dont have to increase the product size (which they wont because they're greedy) it'd be great if they made the packaging smaller for storage and it was just the product.
