Zahra Hossainian I have light green eyes and green eyeshadow surprisingly looks really good. It has to be the right type of green though if that makes sense lol. The dark olives and dark rich emeralds look great and so do the mossy greens but ones the are like a medium Green (like the brighter green in the palette alone) look not so good on me. Skin color and tone probably has a lot to with it too. Now that I've bored you to death...

Starzz62 The best shadow is MAC's Sumptuous Olive! You can put it over any green and it tones it down to more of a golden olive. On it's own it's not super green but still beautiful but I usually layer it. For a true green I love Urban Decay's Mildew and for drugstore L'Oréal's infallible eyeshadow in Permanent Khaki is beautiful (there's another one with Emerald in the name that's gorgeous). I have some in an older Kat Von D palette that I love but it's discontinued as is my favorite light green from Clinique and a MAC Limited Edition single 😟but Makeup Geek looks like they have some beautiful ones that are similar and possibly nicer. Also my FAVORITE look is to wear a neutral eye (light browns, earth tones) with a beautiful Olive Green eyeliner. I love the Sephora retractable eyeliner in 06 Olive. Hope that helps!!

Beautiful look! An awesome tip I just learned that really works is applying primer on the face, but using eyeshadow primer on the nose. My foundation always gets weird on my oily nose and using eyeshadow primer instead of regular primer on my nose actually works! Try it out, ladies, just sharing the wealth :-)

Thanks! I saw it on another random youtube vid (wish I could give credit, I forgot where) but since my nose makeup always looks like a mess after a couple hours, I was psyched to try it and even more psyched at how good my nose looked at the end of a work day! Lily Casas - My favorite is the Milani one. I only learned this myself recently so I haven't tried any others yet :-) But it works well.

I cannot wait to play with my palette but all I will say is there is absolutely no reason for you to feel bad or like you've let anyone down or disappointed anyone because those things are beyond your control and there's no way to please everyone, someone will always find something to complain about. The price of this palette was amazing, honestly for the amazing quality that Morphe has there is NO way you'll find anything close to the quality of the shadows for that price and on top of the already great price point you can get 10% off that, of course there was no way for you or the company to know how many or how fast the palette would sell and I'm sure they ordered soooooooo many palettes just because of the crazy that was the JH Favorites! Hannah Rose - I have green eyes and I think the same thing. I think it's because it makes my eyes blend in too well with the shadows. I prefer using shadows that make my eyes still pop but not blend in. If that makes sense.... Maybe she's the same way?

I see what you mean! I have the same problem myself. I've just read an article that says that we could create a younger looking eye by emphasizing on the lash line, and I notice that is what older (much older than 43, more like 60-70) celebrities are doing. But at your age, I think you still belong to the younger category. :-) As long as you are comfortable with it, why not?

I think this look could still really work for you! Maybe you could cut out the more vibrant green layer and the green water line to tone it down a bit if you wanted. You'd still have a nice olive tone on the lid that is still fun but more subtle. I'm only 30 but not very adventurous, so when I see tutorials with vibrant colors I take inspiration from that but use more of a deeper jewel tone instead. Incorporating Navy, plum, olive, or burgundies can still spice up a look but not be so in your face. I don't think I'd ever put that bright green on my lid, but maybe this look with the olive on the lid and the bright green on the bottom outer lashline would be pretty!

i think ipsy is not that greaat, but boxycharm is. i don't have them but i've ben watching her videos for a longer time now and boxycharm is soo great but ipsy isn't at all ( in my opinion) :) maybee watch a few of the boxycharm videos and see for your self if you like them

Thanks yeah, i had actually picked Ipsy over Boxy based on her reviews and the fact that Ipsy was cheaper! But I've been pretty disappointed in Ipsy so far. And this palette above is sadly sold out :(
