Multi level marketing or what many refer to as a pyramid scheme, like Beach Body or Lularoe. You get pushed to recruit new “consultants” because you get compensated in some way on whatever money the people you recruit make (usually it’s a percentage). So the further up on the pyramid you are (the more people you have under you) the more money you make.

I love that you’re bringing awareness towards MLM. I have been looking for a job for the past two months, I’m an international student in Florida and I need a job to be able to stay in the country. I got so many interviews and job offers, and I did my research before accepting anything because the interviews themselves were sketchy. Exactly. As a nutritionist I was approached by Amway, Herbalife and Usana for so many times and every time I said no. It seems like they can't accept NO as an answer. The sad thing is I run my own small nutrition business and I carry some really good practitioner-grade supplements (definitely not MLM lol), and people around me are more interested in those MLM products because they believe that those brands are bigger and more well-known so they must be good 😏 I don't really comment on here but now I love Kathleen even more for speaking about this topic!

I keep a pack of makeup wedges in my kit to help smooth out foundation after using a brush or helping to clean up the eye area. It’s so much more sanitary than a blender. I personally would rather pay my foundation and concealer in with my fingers than a beauty blender. I like the finish more and even though I’ll occasionally use a beauty blender they really kinda freak me out. I just think of bacteria. I’m a weirdo that can’t get it out of my mind. 🤦🏻‍♀️
