FYI, this is a music festival in Belarus, where he performed as a guest. He did compete on the Slavic Bazaar in a previous year (and won), but was not competing in this performance. Dimash was on a singing competition in China in 2017 called “The Singer” where professional singers compete. He was added as a wildcard and performed first on the first night of competition (singing SOS). His performance was so spectacular that it shot him to overnight super stardom in China. The video was viewed over 600 million times. He came in 2nd in the competition because at the time only Chinese citizens could win. They changed that rule the following year. BTW “SOS” is a French song that was written for a rock opera in the late 1970’s.

Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He is a twenty-nine year old multi-faceted artist with a soul of a thousand years, who hails from Kazakhstan. He sings in 16 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble and kind man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Stranger" 2021,"Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) KZbin channel, "Adagio" from The Singer 2017, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021 at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for one of his most recent songs and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. "Stranger" is excellent. There are soooo many. ALL are amazing, astounding, whatever superlatives you can think of. I am 81 and I am a huge fan/Dear of Dimash. "Daybreak" is unlike any of his other songs. The story in Daybreak is based on a tragedy that took place in China. A writer/poet? adopted an orphan from the tragedy and wrote the words which became the song Daybreak. The words are from the viewpoint of the orphan who saw his parents die! Dimash learned to sing the song in chinese language and performed it in China. Pulls at your heartstrings. There is a ton of info online about his childhood, musical training, family, etc. You've got a ton of awesome listening ahead of you with Dimash. Enjoy! Sheila

He has songs in English also such as Adagio, Hello, Stranger and others; welcome to best singer ever and maybe the best we will ever see; he is one in a millennium talent. He can do any type music he chooses and all his performances are different. He is also an actor, composer, dancer, multi-instrumentalist, and great humanitarian; as well as down to earth family oriented young man. He call his fans "dears" as they are dear to him(like family) and that feeling is mutual.

I think you would all love Stranger (a song in English) at New Wave 2021. Another competition show, but Dimash was a judge in 2021, so he did a few amazing guest spots. The premier of Stranger (a masterpiece), was one of them.

This performance of Dimash was recorded at the Slavyansky Bazar competition in the Republic of Belarus, at this competition Dimash was a member of the jury and acted as the winner of the previous competition in 2015. Dimash Kudaibergen became famous and popular from the first day of performances at the competition of Chinese singers. There he performed exactly this song "S.O.S." from the French-Canadian rock opera "Starmania". But even before that, he performed at numerous competitions both on the stages of his native Kazakhstan and in the republics of the former USSR. And his promotion to the top places has always been fast and undeniable. And by the beginning of the contest in China, he was already singing songs in 12 languages! Dimash rehearses a lot, striving to improve in his business, training his vocal cords and constantly expanding the range. Today his voice extends over 7 octaves and two tones! And, as you correctly noticed, his control over breathing is simply incredible! Fans have measured the duration of holding a note in Dimash's vocalization many times... 23 seconds... this is no longer available to anyone! Usually singers hold a note for 12-15 seconds. But Dimash... it is no coincidence that many people call him an "alien" - he does things with his voice that no one else can do!

Slavic Bazaar is a competition which Dimash won in 2015, here he is invited back as a guest singer. in 2021 he was invited back as a judge and he did a few guest spots which were incredible!

He sang this song as a guest at the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus 2018. It’s an International Festival of Arts and a contest for young singers, which he won in 2015. And here he sings in French. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. A menudo he comentado sobre la capacidad de Dimash para transmitir emociones profundas a través de su voz (incluso cuando existen barreras del idioma, Dimash parece capaz de transmitir el sentimiento vocalmente). Por los videos que he visto y los artículos que he leído, Dimash es un ser humano muy enfocado (¡obviamente talentoso!), que tiene un profundo sentido de conexión con las cosas simples de la vida: familia, fe, belleza, niños, amistades y respeto. (No digo que estas sean las únicas cosas que valora, pero parecen ser recurrentes). Dimash suele ser introspectivo, pero parece realmente una persona feliz, a pesar de algunas pérdidas bastante devastadoras en el camino. Hi, nice to meet you, I'm going to try to recommend some of Dimash's songs, there are so many of them and I like them all, at only 29 years old, Dimash has a wonderful repertoire, with unique songs that you can't stop reacting to, for example Ogni Pietra , Opera 2 and Adagio in The singer 2017, Sinful Passion, Stranger, Screaming, Ikanaide, The story of one sky (both the official video and the live concert), Love Is like a dream, Oír love, Ave María, Across endless dimensions...There are so many that it is difficult to mention them all, but I assure you that they are all worth seeing. The Dears have a logical order to listen to Dimash, but I recommend the ones on my list although many are still missing

I thought I was looking in the mirror with those amazed expressions. Besides his otherworldly voice and performances, I love his single-minded mission of unifying people and nations and bringing Peace to this world. The power within his music is LOVE. And, he spreads that wherever he goes. The magic is how it continues to spread from one Dear to another, across borders, languages, cultures and any other perceived barriers. We are riding a wave, Dear Ones, rising above 'us and them' and becoming ONE. 'Together'. You reacted to El Amor En Ti, which means The Love in You, which was in Spanish (and took place at his concert in Kazakhstan 2022), this song is SOS d'un terrian en distresse, SOS an Earthling in Distress which is in French. Actually, it doesn't take a lot of air to hit high notes, think of it as if you were going to whistle; you purse your lips to make a small hole to produce a whistle sound. The voice is similar in that respect, it takes less air for a high note than a low note. But you are right though, he's got great breath control. The Slavic Bazaar or the Slavianski Bazaar is a competition show for singers in the slavic region, hence why its in Vitsbk, Belarus. Mostly European/Western and Central Asia countries participate in it. Dimash won the Grand Prix in 2015. This performance is from 2018, he was a guest performer. At the end he thanks the Slavic Bazaar as it launched his career and he welcomes everyone to Kazakhstan. Dimash has never been on AGT, BGT, X-factor or the Voice. He was on masked Singer China and a Chinese singing competition show called I am Singer or just Singer (in later seasons) in 2017 when he was only 22. He's got lots of songs in English as well, Stranger probably being one of his most vocally impressive, but I love his song Screaming, both live and the MV. Welcome to the world of Dimash. SOS is the song that made him famous during "The Voice" in China in the 2017 version. After he did SOS he became a superstar instantly in China and Russia, he was 22 years old at the time. He was born with perfect pitch and began training for opera at the age of 5. He has masters degrees in music and is working on his PHD. Here is the normal (for most) playlist to react to. "SOS" Which you just heard although there are 3 main versions of the song and each is different than the other. The rest of the playlist is as follows "Sinful Passion" He confirms that he isn't human, "Ogni Pietra (Olympico)" A modernized opera song written specifically for him. "Love is like a dream" The first time we realize that he is an actual angel. His newer stuff "Stranger" Which shows that he has gotten even better, "Ave Maria" His version and a full song sung by an actual angel. "Ikanaide" A japanese love song that many japanese feel is the best version of this song ever. For fun you have to listen to "Opera 2" and he's showing off and having fun. "Diva Dance" More proof that he isn't human. After those you can choose from so many others.

Já são 3 anos da minha vida dedicados a ouvir e apreciar e curtir e amar a tudo que Dimash faz toca ou canta ele é uma pessoa incrível dedicada e humilde. Com um talento absurdo mas muito trabalhador. Temos músicas mil músicas pra vcs reagirem e não digam que Dimash é um bom cantor. Dimash e um excelente cantor eu canto e sei o qto o canto exige de seu corpo e sua mente. São muitas horas exaustivas de trabalho com muito zelo e cuidado . Um gde abraço. Qdo vcs falam de hologramas e amor em ti Dimash fez uma música os Dears latinos imploravam por algo em sua língua. Foi demais ele compor e arranjar e interpretar em espanhol. The greatest vocalist worldwide imo. His ability ,agility,talent is phenomenal. Every song has a plethora of techniques and styles mixed giving us a unbelievable ride in possibly 13 or more different languages, and his ability to project the material with true emotion. The Dears will fill you in on a lot of his different talents. I am so happy to have experienced hearing Dimash in all the genres and languages he is capable of singing to us. His voice is not only angelic but I personally find healing in listening to his songs. You will never go wrong in listening to any of his songs. The rabbit hole is deep on this young man and you have a long list of beautiful compositions to experience most of the time with jaws open and agape with goosebumps hitting you at many different times per song. I'm a metal head at heart but image is tops in vocal ability and you just can't deny him the crown. He is truly phenomenal and I thank God for giving us such a wonderful gift to all who appreciate top notch talent. If you are like me and enjoy watching this beauty of music you will find yourself revisiting a song or two daily to keep an upbeat and joyous feeling to help get through the day. It is definitely a welcome addition to my daily listening. If you are feeling down,just throw a few of his performances on and them blues will exit stage left while you continue your day. We are blessed to have a super talented young man to give us a helping hand in getting a frown turned upside down. Lol. Thanks again for checking the vocal king out. You will never be disappointed in listening to his amazing catalogue. He is truly an angel and once you get the amazing amount of info on this outstanding young man you will be even more impressed by his offstage personality and demeanor.
