No one but Katia knows what she feels and what is in her heart. I cannot image her having another love as sweet as hers with Sergei. In this video, I don't see the absolute joy and radiate smiling face that she always wore when dancing with Sergei. I am sure her new husband is wonderful, but has huge shoes to fill in Sergei's memory. She is just beautiful and an Angel on the ice

Americans fell in love with Katia from day one. We felt the need to protect her and pray for her recovery, as her loss was our loss.She said in an interview that she will never forget that " In America, I was a champion." Referring to a competition in Ohio. She loved America back. Why would she get bad press ect.? We are satisfied that she found new love, and mostly, America approves of him. We will never forget Her first love, but out of respect for Mr. Kulik we need to be mindful of his feelings, accept him, and appreciate the love he gives her.

Katia Gordeeva made a very commendable transition to singles skating & pairs with her second husband. She did extremely well in America because she was very respected even revered in skating circles so the red carpet was rolled out for her. She was never exposed to the ugliness of the U.S media. Katia Gordeeva has a massive support system behind her & is one of the most powerful figure skaters in the industry when she can put her kids into major tours. This wasn't the case with Katarina Witt & who had to fight for acceptance & everything else. Both ladies are 2 time Olympic champions.

I know that live goes on after losing someone dear, but I do not see the synchrony and love like I did with Sergei.

Ilia was a singles skater so he’s not used to having to time himself with someone else. Sergei was a pairs skater basically all his life and was taught to be in time with Katia. So it’s not surprising they aren’t synchronised

Эта любовь Сергея и погубила. Он любил Катю, а вот она его по всей видимости нет. Абсолютно не жалела мужа. С больной спиной на лёд выходил. Ну а Илья был наверняка хорошим отцом и для Даши, коль она своего первенца Ильёй назвала.

Кулик на фоне Гордеевой вы глядит как мальчик Катаются хорошо но в паре не смотрятся абсолютно Я бы сказала на фоне чистого мальчика партнерша смотрится как-то вульгарно... Это моё чисто субъективное мнение...как не крути а разница в возрасте видна

There is a video on youtube, you can search for it yourself, where katia and a man called egor beroev ( who is and was married at the time ) sit together at lunch and he holds onto her waist and she has her arms wrapped around his neck. This woman, and many katia fans just like to twist the truth and make ilia look bad when in reality, ilia is a very respected man and skater in russia. If he really did cheat do you think russians would want anything to do with him?
