It's a reference to the KZbin channel Twosetviolin. They are two Asian Australian violinists who have a running gag that their Asian mothers would try and shame them into motivation by unfavorably comparing them to a ficticious neighbor kid named Ling Ling. The supposed accomplishments Ling Ling supposedly did, however, were completely and ridiculously over the top. As in "Why are you complaining you never have time to go play outside? You think you work hard? Ling Ling practices 40 hours a day and STILL gets all his chores and homework done on time!"
