"We need borders until we can replace them with something more powerful", such as true compassion. If enough people realize this, the need for defense budgets could be replaced by actually building towards a better world for all. I feel powerless to stop any war, but at least these teachings provide me with the power to end the war within, and contribute to a more peaceful mindset with friends and relatives. Thank you all so much for sharing.

I watch this video and what arises in me is 999 trillion layers of: grief and rage and shame. How is this my life at 42 years old? I'm so very, very ashamed at the state of my life at 42... And this just fills me with all-consuming never-ending: grief and rage. I am drowning in these three: grief rage shame. I drowned in them. I am raped by them. Tortured. Breathless in the agony of them...
