I worked with her at Patheos for a year. I wrote for nearly 10 years for Patheos a column named "No Longer Quivering" Katherine wrote for around a year, fought with leadership at Patheos and was quickly gone. She constantly complained to me about people then turned around and plagiarized a lot of my content. She started calling herself a reporter/journalist when Patheos ordered us to rebrand ourselves from 'blogger', her choice was reporter/journalist, which was not even a suggestion. All of this is what I say about her, and will continue to say because I have some documents on this.

She also plagiarised the story of her son suffering through a heartbreaking condition and having to be in the NICU (I think that's what it's called?) from a mother who was documenting her own child's experiences and health conditions via a blog or some article that she had published. She also plagiarised from a website that discusses premature babies and never cited or referenced her sources... not that it would matter, she took the entire website and recited it word for word. I don't even remember if she spoke about her son and her own experiences as a mother with a baby that was a preemie.

While, I don't like her as a person, I feel that the way she's acting and how unhinged she seems might have more to do with a mental health condition that is either not being treated or hasn't been diagnosed. The way she becomes so obsessive, can't form healthy relationships with others, her rapid fire responses... everything else... it's not 'normal' behaviour whatsoever. Unfortunately, Katie is going to continue down this path until she either hits rock bottom or understands that something is wrong and gets help. She's never going to change otherwise. When I was deep in the Katie Joy drama there were times that I suspected many of her die hard subscribers of being either accounts created by her or her husband. I have seen some of these accounts being exposed and have noticed that her husband also exposes himself under these accounts, but outside of lives that are no longer up, social media posts being taken down, and accounts suddenly disappearing- there really is no proof. I think somebody was keeping up with things and exposing each of these sock puppet accounts but I don't remember who it was.

I’m super late to the party because I only heard about WOACB about two weeks ago as I love trashy tv and she does all this sister wives content. She has me fooled about who she was as a person, I had no idea she was this loco. My favorite thing about WOACB is that she's the reason I found Emily D Baker! I really do wonder with her, considering the impressively consistent stream of lawsuits, drama, arguments and just all around messiness she always finds herself in... has it ever crossed her mind, considering there is one common denominator in all of it, that maybe just maybe she could possibly be the problem? Or is it full on delusional "everyones out to get me" victim complex at this point? I wish her all the best, it must be exhausting being her. Also, the lawsuit didn't settle because there "was no defamation", there was a gag order and she wasn't allowed to speak about it. Informed speculation suggests they settled because WOACB ratted out her source who was Tati's business partner, which helped Tati in her lawsuit against him. Tati has that 2017/18 beauty guru $$$, I don't have a clue how many views WOACB gets, but she the way she threatens lawsuits if I didnt know better I'd think she was up there with Mr Beast. 🤣

Katie Joy is one of those people who gets away with a lot on social media and she will until she messes around with the wrong person. Every big youtuber has a "come to Jesus" moment and at that point, even the biggest fans abandon them if they handle things wrong. She has been handling things horribly for a long time. She will eventually f* around and find out. I always hope that some day she actually does a good job on something, but I have to say, all the clips I've seen of her on other videos and now on yours seem to indicate that her style of "reporting" is kind of National Enquirer type of vibe. The issue with her is that she is relatively small enough to stay under the rader, unlike bigger YTers. So she doesn't get that mass cancel moment. She also doesn't mind cycling through her subs (not including the bots she bought) left & right. She tries to find new subjects that will attract a new group of subs until they get sick of her shit & jump ship then she reels in more on another topic until they get sick of her shit. She jumps from platform to platform, like she has jumped from grift to grift, when she's no longer getting the engagement she wants. Eventually, the new viewers have to run out & hopefully the platforms will too!

About the HIPAA thing, I had to laugh, because she did post Danielle Kohn's birth certificate and talked about her ab*rtion. Dani was 15 at the time. Which wasn't against HIPAA but still a "medical" thing. Shortly after Garrison Brown ended his life (Sisterwives tv show) she states that she had a close source say that an ambulance and police cars went to Garrisons fathers home that night not long after news broke of the death. That’s source was a person who lived on the same street. Kept saying that this information was from a close source who lived right there. I figured she was protecting the sources name BUT NOW, I have even more questions. Before I watched this video, Katie had posted a video stating that the emergency vehicles did NOT go to Kody Browns home. My first thought was then that the neighbor couldn’t have lived ‘right there.’ Okay, maybe same street but too far away to clearly see. How a person who supposedly lives really close to Kody Brown but can’t see that the vehicles DIDNT go to his house has me wondering if she was watching police reports for any additional news from that night and saw an address and assumed that house was close maybe? did she knowingly report it was Kodys home so she could act like she has the most current and in depth info? Bank on people not seeing the retraction? She was posting multiple videos daily.

It’s very telling that Katie thinks a reporter needs to verify the truth of a public allegation before asking the subject of that allegation for a comment. That’s literally the FIRST thing a reporter will try to get once the allegation is out there. The reporter will need to verify the truth of the allegation before reporting it as fact and will do basic fact-checking before making an allegation public themselves, but once the allegation is out there, they ask for the accused person’s response.

Almost everything that Katie accuses others of she’s done. It’s my belief that people like this, who are so hate filled and miserable and seemingly so willing to try to destroy others lives for the giggles and money, think everyone else must be just as vindictive and evil as they themselves, therefor they’re using the same tactics as Katie herself does. Her accusations of others digging deeply into her personal life almost always come after she has retaliated for a comment or video being skeptical of her and paid for the entire background of the skeptical person to use as a form of retaliation. It’s her extremely well known modus operandi. It’s also why tens of thousands despise Katie, and one of the many reasons she’s currently involved in fighting so many lawsuits against her. You’d think she could connect the dots, but as a self described narcissist (in Patheos articles she penned) perhaps it just can’t register in her brain? Idk. Personally, because of the real life stuff and near constant doxxing I do want her de-platformed ASAP. Hopefully someone will bundle in youtube or Facebook into one of these lawsuits as they’ve all received so many complaints about Katie’s behavior that they’ll start issuing stricter guidelines about going real life and de-platform her themselves. We’ll see, but I’m not holding my breath. Great video, nothing new and way too much stuff for you to cover without dedicating a major portion of your life to Katie (which 9/10 doctors claim is detrimental to one’s mental health), but I truly enjoyed your perspective, and find your voice and mannerisms very soothing, which is so helpful after listening to Katie talk! If I were at my work computer I could look them up and search for that specific word, but I’m at home using an iPad. It should be quite easy to find if you’ve access to a computer. Personally, i believe she has narcissistic traits, but don’t know if she’s what a doctor would diagnose as a clinical narcissist. The woman has some serious mental health issues imho, with that being simply one component, and they’re sadly all seemingly elevated by her drug and alcohol abuse.
