janet evans was no doubt a great swimmer as showed by her dominance during her prime. but what ladecky's been doing the last four years has been simply amazing. its to the point where people are disappointed everytime she swims a big meet and not break some records....in some of her favorite distances(400m, 800m, 1500m) she would casually lapping her competitors!!!

@billyparry97218 жыл бұрын
+Mel F shes breathing every 2 strokes, its more efficient once you start getting faster
@melf54218 жыл бұрын
+Lantern CoreGaming Because breathing adds seconds to time, what surprises me is that she breathes so much - 2 rather than 3 or 5...and also that she breathes on the same arm each time by breathing every 2 - wouldn't the muscular imbalance from that be hindering in other strokes?
@billyparry97218 жыл бұрын
no not really, if you look at all the pros races they breath every 2, but there breaths are very very efficient, and it is proven to be faster, but im not sure how they breath during practice. i breath every 3, but im not super fast like Katie is, and at a lower stage of swimming breathing every 3 is better.
