Quel plaisir d'écouter cette fabuleuse artiste compositeur interprète ! Ça change tellement de toutes ces merdes pré-fabriquées, superficielles et artificielles que l'ont mange chaque jour à la radio. Katie Melua, du talent à l'état brut qui n'est malheureusement pas reconnue à sa juste valeur, mais au moins, les amoureux de la vraie musique trouveront leur compte en l'écoutant. Moi en tout cas, elle me transporte ailleurs à chaque fois et sa merveilleuse voix me donne des frissons.

This song came out shortly after my wonderful mum passed away unexpectedly. I heard it first on the car radio and I had to pull over and sob my heart out because of the line “across the sea for a different world” - her ashes had been scattered at sea. Later, I found out the song’s title was actually “I Cried For You (Mary’s Song)” - my mum’s name was Marilyn. Can’t hear this without crying, but I love Katie Melua.
